This one was heard November 22, 1954, Bing talks about honesty, sports and sings some fine songs to boot. It's off to 221 B Baker Street with Your Humble Host as we enter the Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 247 for an episode of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. It's another actual Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock story entitled "The Stockbroker's Clerk". Carleton Hobbs as Holmes and Norman Shelly as Watson are back for another mystery here originally presented February 23, 1960. I'll call for the transport, "Cabbie, Cabbie!"

The Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 246 brings back an old favorite, The Whistler! Today the Whistler sees that justice is done as he rings out "Notes In The Night" as it was originally heard June 27, 1942. Your Humble Host realized it's been much too long since the Whistler has puckered out a tune around here. Bring on The Whistler!

It's been in the works for the past 3 weeks, Your Humble Host now has it ready in time for your Halloween. This is the all new third big Halloween Special on Sounds Like Radio and the last of the Gildersleeve Halloween shows. There were only 3 Halloween Gildy's and this is the 3rd Halloween Gildy special. We featured the first 2 Halloween Gildy's in previous years (Sounds Like Radio's Halloween Volumes 1 & 2). Here is Halloween Gildersleeve from October 31, 1951, just happens to be right in line with our current 1951 GIldy's we've been listening to this season.

We're headin' out West for some Hopalong Cassidy Halloween style adventure. From October 27, 1951 Hoppy faces "Bayou Drums Mean Death" in this Sounds Like Radio Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 39 edition.

Time now for a rather appropriate Jean Shepherd Halloweenish time Library of Sound (LOS) Volume 245 show. Jean tells of the time when driving a long distance the landscape suddenly went dark, during the day! It's a weird tale told by Shep in October of 1971, it sounds like it was just told today.

From the Library of Sound Volume 244 Your Humble Host brings you Quiet Please and a neat little story called "Inquest" as it was originally heard August 3, 1947. An unusual tale we played once at Halloween time, but it's not a Halloween show.
