On Sounds Like Radio Volume 120 things are gettin' back to normal.   We're now picking back up with our latest Great Gildersleeve episodes, that being the first season of the Willard Waterman as Gildersleeve shows.  It's so nice to get back to these Waterman shows.  Now we did get to hear Willard Waterman's first New Year show from late December 1950 and that nice Christmas Willard show from 1956 or '57 but now it's time to return to the point where we left off on Sounds Like Radio in Volume 113.  

Today from December 6, 1950 The Great Gildersleeve finds his nephew Leroy trying to earn a little money on his own.   You might say he wants to clean up in his new venture.   But alas, there's a bit of a boo-boo and Gildy may have to step in.  

BUT, fear not Your Humble Host has brought with him plenty of help for little Leroy.  Today we'll hear from The Lost In Space Robot, Julie London, Marty Robbins, Joanie Sommers (she's the sweetie in our picture with this show), Bing Crosby, Kaye Starr & none other than the stereo Ink Spots.

It’s New Year’s Eve with Jean Shepherd!  Welcome to Volume 74 of a special New Year’s edition from the Library of Sound.  Listen as Shep tells of his times at New Years including as a kid visiting his Grandma’s on New Year’s Eve along with all his cousins. This is a vintage archive show straight from the vaults, a New Year’s Eve show from Shep in 1971.
