Traana Galgi Yemi? Bhakta Tyaagaraajanuta! Raama
Meaning: (From TK Govinda Rao’s book)
Raama! I stand at your threshold begging (“biccha Iyyave”) devotion (“bhakti”) to you and only to you, nothing else!
That devotion is reputed to confer all auspicious attributes (“bhaavukamagu”) leading to that peace (“satvika”) that passeth all understanding.
This devotion is all powerful (“shakti”). It confers a status superior (“ati melmi”) to that of celestials (“akhila Shakti”) and the trinity (“trimurthulu”).
To train deceitful and dashing women (“Jaanalaku”), bereft of devotion to expound Vedas scriptures (“puraana aagama veda japa prasanga”) and the epics will be like decorating corpses (“praanamuleni vaaniki”) with laced cloth and gem studded ornaments (“bangaaru baaga chutti”), a ridiculous exercise in futility (“traana galgi yemi”).

Parama Yogulaku Pari Pari Vidhamula
Meaning: (from www.karnatik.com)
The Lord's feet have saved the earth ("mopina") from the powerful enemy "Baali" ("bali tala") Chakravarthi when the Lord in the form of Vaamana asked him to fulfill his wish. The adorable feet of the Lord, which brought down the pride of the poisonous snake Kaalinga ("talagaka"). The feet were pressed ("pisakedi") so dearly ("premapu") by the goddess of wealth Lakshmi ("shreesati"), the Lord's wife. These are the feet that have given many boons ("varamosagedi") to rishis ("parama yogulaku") and have made TiruvenkaTagiri in Tirupati the last destination ("tiramani coopina") to attain salvation.

Why are you now so secluded, Oh Lord, worshipped by great souls including Brahma ? I would become helpless, if you now decide to elude from me. My imperfect power of expression becomes my disadvantage in praising and singing the stories about you. Please be good enough to remove my anxieties and protect me. If you have some affection for me, save me as you have saved Gajendra, Oh, Lord of Sitha, worshipped by Vathathmaja Hanuman, the great devotee of Sree Rama.
