Get ready for an epic episode, because I sat down with actual horror royalty, the brilliant and talented Joseph Morgan. You love him, you’ve obsessed over him as Klaus Mikaelson, and now he is playing a literal mad scientist.! He is starring as the chaotic titular doctor in Herbert West: Reanimator.
We spoke about how he is literally stepping into a role famously defined by Jeffrey Combs and how he is going to balance honoring the iconic performance while making his own iterations. It was also brought up that he has not seen the 1985 adaptation, but he plans on watching it after this film is produced and released to make it more exciting.
There are a lot of creative choices while producing a film regarding body horror and a mad scientist. However, I have a feeling that Joseph Morgan is going to deliver this role flawlessly and magnificently. I for one cannot wait to see this film in theaters, I am very excited to see which direction this is going to go and how it will resonate with the audience.
Do not miss Joseph Morgan doing what he does best—being beautifully unhinged—in Herbert West: Reanimator. This was an absolute blast. To everyone watching, hit that subscribe button, smash the like, and let me know if you’d trust this man with a syringe in the comments.
I was thrilled to be joined by the talented Hailey Kittle. You might recognize her from her previous work in the genre, including Trick VR Treat, but today we are talking about her latest collaboration with modern horror master Eli Roth in the 2026 thriller, Ice Cream Man. Hailey takes on the role of Melissa, a teacher who goes from managing a classroom to fighting for survival. We’ll be diving into the intense energy of an Eli Roth set, the dynamics of working with child actors in a terrifying movie, and the physical toll of starring in a high-octane slasher.
A massive thank you to Hailey Kittle for surviving the Ice Cream Man set long enough to come tell us all about it! It sounds like this movie is going to deliver exactly the kind of unapologetic, visceral horror that Eli Roth fans have been waiting for. You can catch Hailey fighting for her life in Ice Cream Man, now in theaters.
I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with the incredibly talented Georgina Leonidas. Known to many for her roles in major franchises like Harry Potter, she is taking on a psychological, high-stakes nightmare in her latest project. She stars as Yasmin in the highly anticipated survival horror-thriller Black Box. Set entirely inside the claustrophobic confines of a doomed flight, the film pushes its characters to the absolute brink of sanity as technology and the supernatural collide.
It was absolute chaos on Flight 298, but a complete pleasure having her on my shows. Make sure to catch Georgina Leonidas as Yasmin in Black Box, hitting theaters and streaming on the following platforms Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Trust me, you'll want to buckle your seatbelts for this one.
In the best horror films, the monster is rarely just a monster—it is a reflection of our deepest, most vulnerable anxieties. In the 2026 indie thriller New Jersey Devil, the legendary creature of the Pine Barrens becomes a terrifying mirror for a family navigating the fragile, emotional process of adoption.
Take a seat with me and Olivia Mignone, who helps anchor this film's intense psychological weight. We discussed the exhausting mechanics of micro-budget filmmaking, the challenges of acting opposite a director-star, and how she mentally prepared to face down a local legend.
A massive thank you to Olivia Mignone for such a thoughtful, grounded conversation. It is always a privilege to hear an actor deconstruct their own methodology, especially when it involves balancing the heavy emotional reality of a fragmented family with the sheer, physical exhaustion of hunting a monster in the woods. If you want to see how this psychological tension plays out on screen, New Jersey Devil is currently streaming on Tubi, Plex, and Amazon Prime Video.
From the outside, Camp Almar looks like your typical summer getaway—complete with campfires, ghost stories, and a local legend about a masked killer known as 'The Doctor.' But in the 2025 sci-fi thriller Marshmallow, things are far from ordinary. We dove into how Kue balanced classic slasher dread with existential sci-fi twists, what it’s like playing a 'glitching' character, and how he brought such a vulnerable performance to life on set.
A huge thank you to Kue Lawrence for stopping by and giving us a peek behind the curtain of Camp Almar. It’s not easy to play a character who is fighting both a physical killer and a psychological glitch, but Kue absolutely nailed it. If you haven't experienced the twists and turns of Marshmallow yet, you can stream it right now on Tubi, Plex, AMC Plus, Pluto, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, and Hulu.
Hey everyone, welcome back! In this episode we are talking about one of the wildest, bloodiest, and funniest movies hitting theaters this year: They Will Kill You. It is an absolute rollercoaster about a housekeeper who takes a job in a luxury tower, only to realize the rich folks living there are part of a murderous, demonic cult. Joining us today is Willie Ludik, who plays the brilliantly eccentric character.
Huge thank you to Willie for stopping by and giving us the inside scoop on all the madness! If you want a movie that serves up non-stop adrenaline, killer dark humor, and awesome performances, you have got to check this out. They Will Kill You is officially streaming on HBO Max, Hulu, Sling TV, Amazon Prime Movies, Fandango, and many more platforms.
I was thrilled to have sat down with the breakout star of the critically acclaimed 2022 horror hit, Hatching. Making her acting debut in a feature film is hard enough but doing it while playing a dual role—one a repressed gymnast, and the other a terrifying, blood-soaked monster—is next level. Siiri Solalinna did exactly that, delivering a performance that critics have called both heartbreaking and terrifying. Even though this was her breakout role, she beat out over a thousand other applicants who auditioned – apparently, the casting director chose Sirri because she has the talent.
We dove into how she landed the role, what it’s actually like acting opposite a giant animatronic bird, and how she navigated such a heavy story at such a young age. We also spoke about how she had to mentally switch between the two personalities she had to portray, her background in sports and how it helped set her up for the filming experience, and the makeup process.
A massive thank you to Siiri Solalinna for taking the time to pull back the curtain on such a complex and unforgettable film. It’s amazing to hear how much practical movie magic and intense psychological prep went into creating one of the most memorable movie monsters in recent years.
You can stream Hatching right now on Amazon Plus, Sling TV, Google Play, and YouTube. Thanks so much for listening/watching, and we’ll see you in the next episode!
I had the absolute pleasure of catching up with a very familiar face in the indie horror scene. His latest film, My Best Friend's Dead, takes us to a remote New England town where a desperate attempt to resurrect a loved one unleashes a terrifying demonic presence. He plays Brent, a character caught directly in the crosshairs of missing persons, dark secrets, and bloody chaos.
His performance as Brent adds such a great layer of tension to the farmhouse's growing body count. For everyone watching or listening at home, make sure to queue up My Best Friend's Dead, which is currently available on VOD and digital platforms. Keep your eyes on Dylan Grunn’s upcoming projects because he continues to be an absolute powerhouse in modern genre cinema.
Welcome back, time travelers! In this interview, we are firing up the DeLorean and heading straight to the year 2015. Our guest today played a vital role in one of the most iconic, high-octane stunt sequences in cinema history. As a key member of Griff Tannen's notorious hoverboard gang, she brought attitude, style, and unforgettable energy to Hill Valley.
It was an absolute joy to speak to Darlene about her role, who is famously known to fans across the world as Spike from Back to the Future Part II. We spoke about Hearing the behind-the-scenes magic of how the hoverboard chase came to life, sharing her memories of the amazing set, what it was like to work alongside Thomas Wilson, Michael J. Fox, and Christopher Lloyd, and how this movie still resonates with fans worldwide. She will always be remembered as the “mean girl” of the Sci-Fi genre!
Blake Lindsley, one of the most talented actresses to star in Starship Troopers and who had the most brutal, heartbreaking ends during the disastrous drop on Klendathu. Starship Troopers is a movie that was easily dismissed as a cheesy, violent sci-fi flick, but history has vindicated as one of the most brilliant anti-war satires ever made. She is a legendary roughneck!
Sit down with me and Blake as she takes us behind the scenes of the Mobile Infantry. She went into detail about the physical preparation for the recruits, the preparation and technical mechanics for her horrific demise, the practical effects, and what she thinks would be a great recruiting video for the Federation here in 2026. Moreover, It is incredible to see how a character with just a few key scenes can leave an impact that lasts nearly thirty years.
Until next time, remember: Everyone fights, no one quits. We’ll see you in the next episode!"
