Clemson and South Carolina face off in Clemson, S.C., in a game that could have College Football Playoff implications for both teams. Both the Tigers and Gamecocks are playing well. Clemson is about a 2 1/2-point favorite with an over-under of 49 as of Monday morning, and you may watch the game at 11 a.m. Central on ESPN. Clemson running back Phil Mafah brings both experience and consistency and will be a key.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik has been slightly inconsistent, but has shown far more good (2,761 yards, 29 touchdowns, 375 rushing yards) than bad (four interceptions) this year.

Florida’s Billy Napier has gone from hot set to potential SEC coach of the year after a massive upset of Ole Miss.

Kentucky made a change to Cutter Boley at quarterback in a loss at Texas.

LSU came out motivated and scored a quality win over Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss played its biggest game in years and scored a disappointing loss at Florida.

Mississippi State didn’t have the talent to hang with Missouri and appears headed towards a win-less conference season unless it pulls an Egg Bowl upset.

Ten wins are still on the table for Missouri, which has played well three games in a row.

Oklahoma scored the biggest win of the Brent Venables era in holding Alabama to a field goal.

South Carolina is playing as well as anyone and handled business against Wofford.

Texas took care of business against Kentucky and now is in the driver’s seat to get to the SEC title game…

… but Texas A&M, despite a disappointing loss at Auburn, can be the road block in the Longhorns' plans.

Vanderbilt appears to be running out of gas late in the season, thought the Commodores had a shot at an upset in the final quarter at LSU.

Mississippi State has no quit in them, after battling back and beating Utah the Bulldogs pull off another comeback in their first true road game of the season at SMU.

Oklahoma has taken care of business so far, but that business hasn't been very hard to take care of. A few tests await the Sooners where we may learn a bit more.

South Carolina narrowly beat Mercer 84-72 bouncing back from the Indiana loss. A big Monday night matchup against Xavier feels like a must-win at this point in the Gamecocks non-conference schedule.

Tennessee has been the definition of a machine, destroying everything in its path. Very impressive start for the post-Knecht Vols.

Texas A&M had 1st half struggles against Southern in their only game of the week, with a gauntlet awaiting. We'll learn all we need to know about the Aggies shortly.

Vanderbilt made an impressive run through the Charleston Classic knocking off both Nevada and Seton Hall before eventually falling to a surprise Drake squad.
