Bottom Line: You can’t live by faith if your faith is dead.

Bottom Line: Is Jesus the only one Who knows you are following Him?

1. Receive the Word - - We must receive the word of God as authoritative in our lives.

The Word of God is eternal truth.

Whose voice is the dominant voice in your life?

Ignorance of the Word is no excuse for not living it.

2. Examine our heart and actions.

It is important to know what God’s word says, but it is much more important to do what it says.

Being a doer of the word is literally the only proper response to the Word of God.

We can be guilty of marking our Bibles but never letting our Bibles mark us.

If we want to be transformed by the scriptures we must look at ourselves deeply and when we do so we will not forget what we see because it will be unforgettable.

3. Practice what you preach.

The fruit of our obedience will be made known in three:
1. speech
2. action
3. values

     Growing in Christ – “I believe in Jesus and am working on what it means to get to know Him.”
     Close to Christ – “I feel really close to Christ and depend on him daily for guidance.”
     Christ-Centered – “My Rp w/ Jesus is the most important Rp in my life/guides everything I do.”
