Jon and Jason return from a short break, and finally get to discuss the big news about Billy/WPC’s upcoming solo album, Ogilala. They also kick off the E’s this week, with two 1989 demos (one of which has a mysterious chorus), a “sunny” Zwan song, and the iconic Pumpkins classic “E drone / E / c# / A.” Also: Jon reads an old blog entry from Billy that sheds some major light on his unreleased folk projects.

Jon and Jason wrap up the D’s this week, with tracks from Machina II and Monuments to an Elegy, a classic Pumpkins song from the “Singles” soundtrack, a not-so-classic Zwan song, a “cyber metal” epic, and more.

This week, Jason gets on his #DizzleTruther soapbox, by arguing that the Smashing Pumpkins demo “Dizzle” is actually an early version of the Hole song “Dying.” Jon and Jason also discuss the timely song “Doomsday Clock,” and make a friendly wager about a new song called “Double R.”

But first: they kick things off with a brief chat about “Author: The J.T. LeRoy Story,” a documentary that Billy plays a pivotal role in. Don’t be afraid, it’s just the Corganator.

This week Jon and Jason finish off the C’s, with one of the best songs on Gish, album tracks from Mellon Collie and MACHINA, and a pair of outtakes from Adore.
