I got inspiration for this song a few weeks before my mother's 75th birthday. Instead of a festive day, her birthday was going to be a sad day. That day was during the Covid lockdowns, so she wasn't allowed to celebrate her birthday. She also was not in the mood to celebrate anyway, since in year before my father passed away, a good friend of my parents passed away and an aunt passed away, while another aunt was fighting for her live and passed away a couple of weeks later.
This song is dedicated to all the people that go through a hard time. Like my mother at her 75th birthday.
The song As I Drove Into Town is an experiment: all instruments except the drums come from Spectatronics' Keyscape, which is software that simulates many different kinds of instruments that have a keyboard, such as piano, electric piano's, dulcimer and bells.
The title of this song was suggested by Jasper Talemaker.
Morning previews of the day ahead, and evening summaries of the day. During Jon Worth's #CrossBorderRail Finale 2025.

This is a talk I gave at Casterbridge Speakers -- I wanted to write something in the style of Tim Harford, complete with sound effects.
Written by Colin Beveridge and Sam Hartburn.
Content note: this song mentions death and is generally very sad.
Lyrics:
Dorothy died in the arms of a passing pedestrian
Dorothy died in the cobblestone cold
Dorothy died on December the seventeenth,

The song Rain in June was recorded in 2025 by Kelvert Timmer. He began with my demo of this song and transformed it into a disco/rock track reminiscent of Daft Punk.
This song has been released on all major music platforms on April 16, 2025.

The Day after Eunice is a song I composed the day after the storm Eunice passed our country (February 18, 2022). It has been recorded at Triple Moon Studios in December 2023 and in February 2025.

The song Brit on a Buoy was recorded in 2023 at Triple Moon Studios and completed in 2024.
The title is inspired on a news item: a Brit went kayaking on sea, but got into trouble. He managed to cling on a buoy. After a couple of days he was saved by Dutch fishermen. Here is a link to the demo of the song I produced myself.
