Testing several jellybean components and their parallel connections. Have fun!

Still some tweaks to do? Yes. Celebrating a newly restored Stern Rochlitz Stradivari 2 radio, reconfigured OBS and upgraded hardware... with some extra nerdiness. Cats, rants and Nixie tubes too.

Saw my reflection in a HDD platter and just couldn't resist.

[Establishing battlefield control... Stand by.]

Hello there, kitties! This is Keri the vacuum tube witch, starting my little channel about electronics, trans & queer rights, music, alternative fashions, social issues, geeky stuff and probably some more.

So, this is gonna be the first one, huh? Recorded on my mobile, unedited apart from cutting the initial few seconds.

My queerfriend Tristane is an avid vinyl record collector who knows plenty of facts including catalog numbers, release dates etc. and I'm a electronics/gear afficionado. Together we can make our dreams come true - they started collecting records only recently, even though they had the interest for a long time. So, what changed? A year ago I was making a phono preamp for my returning customer who had me do a lot of repairs, restorations and amp building, and I needed a turntable to test it, as well as some records to play. So, we decided to start buying and collecting records, even though we have a hard time making ends meet.

Stick with me for electronics building, repairs, vintage restoration and reverse engineering, as well as flapping my gums on different topics.

After 40 years of operation, the Joint European Torus (JET) nuclear fusion research reactor is shutting down. Right when the scientific world is making some significant progress though the end goal of building viable fusion reactors is still decades away.

Just a casual end-of-holiday livestream, for the first anniversary of Ariane 5 / James Webb Space Telescope launch - which also launched me into the whole space nerd thing. Time flies!
