HEYO IT’S BEEN a hot minute - it’s been looong ass 6 months. How are y’all doing? I hope y’all doing well. Your boy sonder updates on life these past 6 months, the turn of the year, the loss of self, creatively and personally. Of changing the fabric of one’s existence, looking back at the past, and moving forward into the future.
 

What does it mean to be independent? To prove to others or to ourselves that we can “make it”, that we are capable, to show up and give? We discuss our goals and themes, for the upcoming year, helping those around us, and what independence means to us.
 

Being complicated and true to ourselves is one of the things I think everyone struggles with. The balance between accepting others for who they are, wanting to be accepted and liked but also preserving that sense of self. In japanese mixed english, we discuss how these things affect ourselves, work, our perception of the world and the relationships around us.
 

This year has been very kind to me. A long journey filled with self-doubts, painful lessons after acknowledgement of the past, of learning to let go and living. Join your boi sonder as we talk about some of the things I have written over the past year, vibrations that have helped me get through it and the many, many lessons learned.  

We’ve come a long way since we started the podcast. It’s been an up and down journey for the both of us, slowly learning about ourselves and each other, healing from past things and discovering new loves. Living, loving and really trying to create the space, to just exist.
 

A bundle of joy… filled with mostly me trying to avoid the subject of kpop (of our favourite groups, TWICE and LOONA) and constantly falling back into talking about it. Rambling about girls, collecting, TOM YUM GOONG, hotels and many other things..
 

There’s something magical, about being on stage, in front of arenas of people. Hearing them react, scream, cheer. It’s a surreal feeling, but what is it? Recognition, reassuring of your existence? Of your hard work? That you’re loved? What is this magic, this sauce of life that gives us energy, makes us feel things and live…
 

We go once again into our favourite kpop group (TWICE), how the dynamics of our relationships play around emotional, creative and business things. And also our current and past obsessions and how we as people have changed because of it.
 

As we continue to live, we oftentimes find ourselves going through the motions and not being aware about the things around us. The stimulation that our senses feel, the inputs and what is real. (mostly) Romney rambles about real things, love & stimulation, our lessons from reading and music.
 

“Can you create a thing that has an effect on anybody” And even if you want to… how do we continue to do so? The expectations we have for ourselves, on the career paths we choose. Our approach to learning. Fulfillment about creating, the enjoyment that arises, and ideas that blossom from boredom. Regardless of all these things and thoughts, we’re simply just trying to exist at the end of the day… and that is already something.
