I knew I had something to do tonight, and then I remembered! I had to take my laundry out! I almost left my wet clothes in the washer to get mildew-y and forgot to get my dry clothes out of the dryer which could make them wrinkle-y. This week went by pretty well overall. Got a lot done, got the shot, got some reading done, and took care of some chores. I feel like it's been a successful week. I hope the shot doesn't give me 5g poisoning, but my phone always seems to have 5 bars? Interesting. Something for the aliens to uncover I suppose.   

Came back from a trip to New Orleans! Glad to be backed, but would definitely need to go back. 5 days is not enough time to do everything. I need to see and spend more time there. It actually had some very cool weather and only a couple hot days. The museums were great too. Saw some great artists and the WW2 museum. Such a great museum. Such great culture and so unique. I could go on. I talk a little bit about the plane ride over. Some people, man. No respect of the airplane or air travel at all anymore. Completely lost all of it's pomp and circumstance it had back in the 60's I think.  

Hey listeners, I'm back on the podcast doing a solo episode. Wasn't it fun doing those interviews? Now we're going back to the original form of the podcast, doing solo episodes yet again. I got to keep the original form of this podcast alive somehow. But I feel good being back on. I like being solo again. It's always best to take a break and get back into it. Like with physical exercise, you need to take a break every once in a while to recover. I don't know if that's me being wise or me trying to rationalize why I've been to lazy to have done this sooner. I really liked the quality of this episode. I spoke a little about stand-up, seeing a baby deer, and some metaphors that got out of hand. 

Hi guys, this is a late upload. This is a conversation that I had with a great comedian, John Gardner who has been doing stand-up comedy in the Seattle scene for years. It's a rare look into some changes that have happened in the local comedy scene here and his journey into stand-up comedy. We talk a little bit about mental illness and how John writes material. He's a great comic and I'm very happy with how this interview turned out. 

I should have a better intro than yelling something that might get me cancelled in the future. Hopefully, everyone will realize podcasts are a long form, unstructured medium that allows for playful banter and witty remarks and that jokes require provocation and aggression. We talked a lot about his experiences in life, getting into stand-up, and some current events around cancel culture and the state of America. Give it a listen and see if it makes you a fan or not!  

Today I interviewed Adam Tiller, a friend and local comedian here in the Seattle area. We open up with a lot of bits and be warned that adult themes are discussed! I never tell my guests what they can or cannot say and I tend to go with the flow to see where the conversation takes us. Adam and I have some shared history with our careers and we talk about some office horror stories about the work place we were in. We run by some bits pretty quick and poke fun at our mutual friend Quinn Fitzgerald. I like talking to Adam and one of the reasons why this podcast may sound so good is that, we are using Adam's equipment and not mine, haha. 

Hey, I'm back on the podcast! How will it go? Who knows?! Haha, I should get back on this. I do like doing this. And stand-up is back open in Seattle! That's great news! I feel like I've really sort of regressed in my skill and ability. I hope I get back on it better soon. I hope its something like hard won skills are hard lost skills too. Who knows. I guess I will soon. 

2021 is here! But 2020 seems to have bleed over into this one. 2020 is over but is it beaten? This might be the only year where I don't say 2020 for the next month and a half. I've been ready for 2021 for awhile. I can't say I felt very victorious coming into 2021 but I am glad 2020 is behind us. Almost a year into lockdown. It'll be a year in a couple months. I hope to be able to come out of this unscathed though I'll be the first one to admit I do take risks with my health. I bike ride around town without a mask on, I still take some PJJ lessons, and I meet up with friends. So far all the tests are negative and hopefully stay that way, but I would be lying to you if I'm okay with it. Talking about Covid has turned into the most hack thing a person can say these days. That and asking about the vaccine. I feel like it's already a played-out trope. It's like watching a movie where the guy has to save his son, or the spy needs to stop the rocket launch. I've seen it before. That doesn't mean it's bad but I can tell where the beats are and what it is going to lead to. I can still enjoy it but I can't say it would be very memorable. 

Hey it's Christmas! Who would of thought we would have made it this far? This year is almost done, let's push through to the very end of it. How are you guys doing? Enjoying the holidays or getting stressed out by it. Nowadays, Christmas tends to be a rather chill affair here. Can't say I'm getting up early to unwrap presents haha.
