The Hunger Crime is co-authored by Trudy Bower and John Crisci and truly is a dream come true for both of them. With many years of experience in working for the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) they have come together to bring this powerful thriller to the world. Its release will help raise funds to feed school children and bring awareness around the hungry poor. Trudy and John will share about being a humanitarian and how small steps make a big difference. Together we can shift the tide on feeding the hungry, bringing world peace forward, and taking action on those things most important to each of us! We hope their story will inspire YOU to bring forward those dreams and seeds planted in each one of us!

Sending handmade pillowcases to homeless Veteran and woman’s shelters

Good morning Sir or Ma’am,

I am stationed on board a US Navy ship currently on deployment overseas. We are in the Middle East right now, in the Fifth Fleet AOR. We will be underway for the holidays this year. We, the Chiefs Mess, are doing something special for the crew during the holidays.

My question is would Sewport Our Troops be willing to spread some Holiday cheer for the sailors on board? What we are doing is getting and wrapping gifts for the crew here on. On Christmas Day we will hand out raffle tickets to all of junior sailors. At various time we will call out a ticket number and that sailor report to the Chiefs Mess where we will give them their gift. It is just a way we can boost morale while being at sea for the holidays. Thank you for your time and consideration.
