Ryan Straschnitzki was a member of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team that was part of the tragic bus crash that only left 13 survivors. Speak Your Mind co-host Tyler Smith was his teammate and also on the bus that day. The crash left Ryan paralyzed from his chest down but is continually making steps in his recovery towards the hope of walking one day following a surgery in Thailand.
