Speaking English

This week for the pod, we watched The Firemen's Ball (1967) Directed by Milos Forman. Here is where we talk about it.

Apologies for the awful audio quality from my end this time around, I was kicked out of my room and had to record in the kitchen. Hopefully it isn't too much of a hinderance.

Contact us through Instagram @speakingenglishpod to get involved. It'll be fun.

Another wrap-up episode, this time what we watched and read in September. It was a pretty busy month but we both managed to get a good amount of movies and books in. A fun time for all involved this week.

Sorry for the late upload this week! It has been a crazy hectic time for us both and I'm just glad we were able to get the episode in. Part two of Movie Reports, where we watched two Nightmarish movies and had lots to talk about. Nightmare Alley (1947) and A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).

This week is our second attempt at Movie Reports, an episode type where we each find a movie to watch and then talk about it and present. We each chose Nightmare movies this week, A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Nightmare Alley (1947). I want the records to show that this was not planned, and quite a pleasant surprise actually. But it makes for a nightmarish episode 77.

If you like the Pod and would want to support us more you can check out our Patreon page at Patreon.com/speakingenglish . Even if the finances are not feasible we'd love it if you give the page a look. Otherwise, you can give us a review on Apple Podcasts, which I am told helps out quite a lot.

Thanks for listening and supporting, and have a great week!

This week we watched The Cremator (1969) directed by Juraj Herz. It was a creepy time for all involved. Wanted to watch a Czech movie for Evan's second week in Prague and this is the one we chose.

Check out our Patreon page at Patreon.com/Speakingenglish if you'd like to help support the pod.

Thanks for listening !

In our first episode from different sides of the Atlantic, we revisited one of the first movies we watched for this podcast, Jacques Tati's 1967 classic Playtime. Some opinions changed and some stayed the same in our first movie revisited. A fun time for all involved.
