Next, they tackle Cam Newton and Jameis Winston getting significantly undervalued during free agency based on the deals they ended up with (7:55), then transition to talking about the Washington professional football finally beginning the process of changing their racist name (1:04:20) before an even more sober than usual Is This Your King (1:35:39). 

And with Mr. Blanco in the building, D.R. takes some people to the grill himself (47:15).

No Austin on this week's episode of the Week-Ended Take but you know what there was? More talk about the state of race relations within the sporting world and the country at large. The gang sans Austin start with a spirited discussion on Bubba Wallace and NASCAR's handling of the noose incident (5:40) before moving to the NBA's tricky situation as they continue to plow ahead with their 2019-2020 season restart (1:11:05). Finally, D.R. and Daniel go toe-to-toe over the No Name vs J. Cole exchange (1:52:00). 

It's a jam-packed episode. 

As the country continues to try to figure out the next steps surrounding police brutality and race relations, it was the NBA's turn to wade into the powderkeg of tension in the current climate. Following Kyrie Irving's decision to speak out against playing basketball games during the movement, the fellas discussed whether NBA athletes should want to return to action along with multiple college athletes wielding their power in an attempt to foster change.

Also, D.R. and Austin curse in front of a child. So there's that. 

We're back from hiatus! But this show doesn't really prove that because we recorded this before Covid-19 was even really a thing. This episode featuring recurring guest Mariana Ovalle was just too good not to post even if it is a tad bit late. With Austin and Daniel taking one side and D.R. and Mariana taking another with a vanishing Thespian Papi in the middle, shenanigans ensue all episode long as they battle of Marvel's Infinity War-Endgame creaming filler err filling -- Captain Marvel.

With the sports world in quarantine-mandated timeout, the NFL took center stage as its offseason began last week. The fellas discuss if the NFL should be reprimanded for continuing business as usual during a crisis, break down some of those key NFL offseason happenings, and then discuss a small-town mayor getting got during one of her council meetings. 

It's a rip-roaring good time, even during quarantine.

This week's episode features special guest Peanut Butter Carlos Rocha as the guy's break down the long-lasting ramifications of the sports world coming to a complete halt. Will they survive without sports? Will the show survive? Who knows? 

This episode gets HEE-ATED. While the gang couldn't decide on just one topic; they could decide to yell at each other really loudly over Charles Barkley's feud with Draymond Green. In addition to that, they also talked about the COVID-19 virus and its effects on the sports world and the Brooklyn Nets  head coach firing. A new J&T Charters' commercial debuted and they almost got killed by what-must-never-be-spoken. There's plenty of layers to this episode' so sit back and peel them all back. 

In a special edition of The Week-Ended Take, the men folk talk about the budding beef between Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden. After that, they detour into the political lane for some Super Tuesday beef between Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren along with some other Texas primary matters. Keep in mind, Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg had not dropped out of the race when the podcast was recorded.
