A special episode this week is dedicated to Podcasthon: Podcasthon is the world’s largest podcast charity initiative, bringing together podcasters globally to raise awareness for charitable causes. So a whole bunch of us podcasters are releasing an episode this week about a charity of our choosing. Here’s a link to their site to see more:

I chose to feature “United Plant Savers” since they are an organization that focuses on the environment and awareness of medical herbs, exactly what I advocate for, speaking of tea…

In this episode, I explore and share some elements of what United Plant Savers does. Off their website: United Plant Savers’ mission is to protect native medicinal plants, fungi, and their habitats while ensuring renewable populations for future generations.
I discuss their Artist In Residence program, Bastyr’s Sacred Seed Trail, International Herb Symposium, Conservation Ticket, and their recognition of Species at Risk.
I learned a lot studying this organization and appreciate how they give back to the earth and encourage spreading knowledge about medical and native plants. It is important for us all to be aware of what is around us on this planet and take care of the habitats for where endangered species grow.
