Dr. Matthew Raidbard is a former Men's college basketball coach and athletic administrator, head of Raidbard Sports Leadership Consulting, and author of Lead like a Pro-which is on sale now! Dr. Raidbard shares his upbringing in the Chicagoland area (as y'all know, MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD!!! A coaching job in New Mexico proved to be impactful for Raidbard, as the school is located on the border of the States and Mexico, exposing him to lifestyles and upbringings he was previously unaware of. Instead of allowing the situation to intimidate him, Matthew immersed himself in the culture, community, and university. Naya Tapper is a USA Rugby Olympic Team member and from what I keep hearing, the best female rugby player in the world! All I know is you couldn't pay me to stand in front of Tapper on the field--coming from the person who thinks they can do anything! I really enjoyed my conversation with Naya, talking about her childhood, involvement in sports growing up, and how she got into rugby. She knew she was talented in the sport, but never imagined she'd be a superstar one day! How AMAZING is it to see women of color dominating all kinds of sports!? Especially in the Olympics!
