I had the pleasure of speaking with an interviewing Barnaby and Matthew O'Connell. They are the filmmakers of a recent film receiving a lot of buzz titled "The Pickup Game". Many of the qualities and characteristics of the people portrayed in this documentary fall in line with some red flags I have discussed on previous episodes of narcissistic personality disorder. This film is thought-provoking and at times emotionally triggering. This episode dives deep into the film and some of the thoughts I had as well as their reasoning behind how/why it was filmed in a certain way, what their thoughts were during the process of dealing with these individuals, and what they are looking to portray with this film.
