Kiwi comedy-romance Workmates, which releases in nationwide cinemas on August 21. The film is written by and stars Sophie Henderson, co-stars Matt Whelan, with crack-up support roles from Kura Forrester, Chris Parker and more.

The film is inspired by Sophie’s own years running Basement Theatre. It’s a messy, funny, heartfelt film about best friends, ambition, and those blurry lines between love and work - all set amidst the chaos of indie theatre life.
