On this episode of Spicy Memories, I talk with Sam from Calamity The Kid.
Calamity the Kid is a California-based band. Their new single "All Of My Friends Will Die In The End" (linked below) border on Alt-Pop. With steady beats that keep you going and catchy melodies, I'm slowly finding this song especially just embedded in my brain, catching my self whistling the chorus while living my daily life.
Sam has been a friend for well over 20 years and I am so excited I finally got him on.

On this episode of Spicy Memories, Captain Cook aka Spice Daddy rants about Ghost Kitchens, plant-based mentality, eco-friendly opportunities, etc. It's almost as if this dumbass woke up and was like, "Let me make a solo show about a BUNCH of stuff I have no business talking about as an authority. THAT WILL GET LISTENERS FOR SURE. What a fu**ing dummy.
Ashley Lanna returns for a FOURTH guest spot on Spicy Memories! Ashley is the host of Lullaby: The Fear Podcast, and while she joins me as we streamed on Instagram live, we discuss podcasting, what goes into it, anxieties that come along with it, and tips for those wanting to start one!
Cover art by Ashley Lanna.
Opening song: Something Else - ShortBus
It's me children, just me. Spice Daddy Solo (my new stage name) comin at you from an undisclosed location.
We talk authenticity again, being brave with recipes, jigsaw puzzle cookers, and of course, I find a way to insult AT LEAST a few different categories of people.
Intro music is my old band, ShortBus.
Song: Take a Ride
Mixed and mastered by Kevin Legall (he also does that crazy guitar solo)
In this edition of S P I C Y M E M O R I E S, I sit down with Tara. Tara is a podcast host, an avid runner, and is the curator of endless beautiful stories from her show "Adopted Babies from China". She sits down with adoptees who tell their stories. Tara agreed to come on my show, which made me extremely happy. I am in a constant search for knowledge of things that I have been ignorant to my entire life.

In this episode, I sit down with someone who has one of the most visually pleasing pages I have come across in a very long time. Phil from @PairedPints makes recipes, pairs the food with craft beer, and has endless golden nuggets of reviews and recipes and food porn. We talk about desert island beers, pairing beer, Star Wars and The Book of Boba Fett, and 90,000 other topics as we go on beautiful tangents.

On this episode of Spicy Memories, I sit down with someone who has one of my all-time favorite voices. Alyssa aka Pebs runs a podcast called Peb Talks. A show that is constantly reminding me to stop talking as much sh*t about myself as I usually do.
Her goal is to spread positivity and if she can get someone like me to talk positively, she's doing something right.

In this episode, I sit down with someone I have wanted to talk to for a VERY long time. Hope Johnson is a professional chef, a musician, an avid athlete AND a director for Also Known As, Inc. An organization that helps adoptees connect with their home culture and heal the disconnect.
