The upcoming fan film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has cast Tramell Tillman, best known for his role as Mr. Milchick in the series Severance, as the classic villain The Shocker (Herman Schultz).

Tillman joins actor Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), who is slated to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the non-profit, crowdfunded project. The film, directed by Zach Duffy, aims to adapt the controversial but significant "Brand New Day" comic book storyline from 2008, which famously reset Spider-Man's continuity.

The director praised Tillman's casting, stating he will bring a "menacing, yet grounded presence" to the role. The project has already successfully met its funding goals on Kickstarter.
