Gregg Stewart is an HWA author, award-winning songwriter, musician, screenwriter, journalist, and film composer whose dark fiction tales have appeared in The Sirens Call, Crystal Lake Publishing’s Patreon flash series, and the print anthologies Shallow Waters (CLP, Oct 2023); Dead Letters: Tales of Epistolary Horror (CLP, Dec 2023); and To Hell and Back (Hellbound Books UK, Feb 2024). More short stories are slated to appear in three upcoming anthologies, set for release in Oct 2024, Feb 2025, and March 2025. He has recorded and published over 100 songs, fronted two indie rock bands (Stewboss and The Mazarines), toured the US and Europe countless times, scored multiple indie films (including the award-winning short Beautiful Dead Things), and provided songs for a dozen film/tv soundtracks from the cult-classic 3,000 Miles to Graceland to the hit show Hart of Dixie. Song highlights include “The Midnight Shift,” Folk category winner at the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and “O Carry Me,” featured in London’s West End revival of Little Women. The 2024 film Heart Strings contains three songs co-written by Stewart, and his first co-written screenplay, Western Gothic, was runner-up in the 2023 Big Break Contest. His nonfiction book, "LET IT OUT: Unlocking Creativity to Access Authentic Expression" is a practical guide to living a more creative life, and releases on September 18th, 2024.
