Joe discussed a piece from the Imitation of Christ “Chapter 29, How we should call upon God and bless Him in time of tribulation”. The tribulation is a purification by which God loves us, allows us to grow in Humility and brings us closer to Himself and His most holy will. Are we persevering and moving forward in holiness each day?

 

Joe commented upon a piece entitled “Let’s Makes Good use of Time”, by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalene. We only have a finite amount of time to do God’s most Holy Will and get to heaven. So, how are we doing? He also shared a little international Catholic news form  the prestigious Newspaper “Catholic”.

Joe discussed Advent and continuing the good fight. He also recited a Discourse on Christmas Night by St. Alphonsus Ligouri.

Joe continued his discussion and insights on Advent and the virtue of silence. He also highlighted the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception.

Joe jumped into the details and beauty of Advent laying it out in his usual raw fashion. Bottom line, are we living our lives as Professional Catholics?
