Nerdist has partnered with Spirit Halloween and Trick 'r Treat writer-director Michael Dougherty to host "The Spirit of Sam Costume Contest" to celebrate the film's first-ever 4K theatrical release. The contest, which runs from September 19 to October 5, invites participants to submit their best Trick 'r Treat-inspired costumes for a chance to win Spirit Halloween gift cards and movie tickets. Dougherty himself will help judge the entries, seeking costumes that embody the dual nature of Sam and Halloween itself.
