Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

Pace! Today is Friday, January 7, 2022, and is one week on from New Years Day, and the airing of our first program of the year here at Spirit of Truth Ministry. There are also 51 weeks until the next New Years Day, and during those weeks we will all have both good and bad experiences that will define how this year has played out, not only in our individual lives, but in the life of our society, and our culture. One of the factors in getting from here to there will be how we pace ourselves in our effort to finish the year in possibly better shape than last year, which was a tough year. Pace to the running of a race is critical in being able to actually finish the race, and not burn out before the finish line. A good runner wants to finish the race with nothing left in the 'gas tank' of their store of energy. They want to cross the line and collapse, knowing they have nothing left to give. In music composition one of the most important and yet least appreciated element is the idea of pacing the tempo and dynamics of the composition such that the music builds to a projected climax, without giving the ending away too soon.  We are entering a time in the hisrtory of the world when the pace of events is accelerating to an ending for which many people are not prepared. This is the reason why we need to understand the pacing of the prophecies in Daniel 2 and Revelation 10, that show us an ending the has been unlooked for until right now. Events in both the physical, political and spiritual worlds are moving along 'a-pace' toward a conclusion that will bring to the world Peace and Prosperity rather than death and destruction. This is an ending that is looked for by only a very few people, and you, dear listener, are one those people, because you have been listening to our programs these past months. We need to prepare our friends and family for this wonderful ending, that is also a new beginning.

Happy New Year~ It is New Year's day in the world, and a chance to reflect on the past, as well as plan for the future. Many people believe that the future is bleak, due to the present circumstances we are facing in politics, religion, and with the world economy. There are a lot of people that I speak with at my work that are not only saddened by what they see and experience, but are also very worried about what will happen this year, thinking that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. Several have cited to me the events of Revelation and the 'Anti-Christ' that they feel  must soon appear in order to fulfill the prophecies that they see in Revelation for the end of time. Many are frightened. Yet here at Spirit of Truth Ministry we know better than to believe those things, because we know that we are now NOT going to experience the Death Road prophecies, but we will so experience a time of Peace and Prosperity the like of which the world has never seen in all history. And today Rick has some improtant and wonderful news about how God calculates the timing of the end that will show right where we are in time. Thjis is information you must have in order to gain a true sense of what God has done, and is doing, in preparing the world for His eventual return to earth. This is truly good news for a truly Happy New Year! Join Spirit of Truth Ministry on New Years Day, January 1, 2022 for an exciting program that will redefine how we should see the world and the event therein. at 10AM PDT on: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

On New Years Eve day, December 31,2021, Spirit of Truth Ministry is pleased to present a Best of The Bible on Trial. This program continues from the studies of July 16 and 17, 2021 that describe the effects of the prophecies of the Life Road, as opposed to the Death Road on the world, that is seen in much of Revelation. Join Rick Sterling and the Spirit of Truth Ministry team as we uncover the reasons why we should be looking forward to what will happen after the New Year that will change the world for the Good, forever. This program was originally aired on July 23, 2021. Our program will air at 10 AM on: blogtalkradio.com/sot. On New Years Day January 1, 2022, Spirit of Truth Ministry will present a live program that will expose one of the many reasons why Bible Prophecy of the End of Time andthe timing of these prophecies have been misunderstood for 2,000 years. We hope you will join us for both of these outstanding presentations.

Christmas Presence~ One of the highlights of the Christmas season, especially Christmas Day is the giving and recieving of presents. For Children, it is the most important part of the holiday, because they get to unwrap these presents and see what the surprise is inside the package. For adults with children it is being able to give them something from 'Santa' that they normally would not get in everyday life. Socks don't count. My grandson is 17 months old, and this will be the first Christmas that he has any recognition of the importance of the day. The house is decorated with lights, and maybe a Christmas tree. But a child that young has not recognition of the true importance of the day, and won't until much later. For me, the most important part of the Christmas season is not that there is beautiful music, or even a lovely family gathering. It is the true Christmas story that was expressed in the account of the birth in John 1: "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of graciouness and truth." John 1:14. Jesus came to this earth to bring the WORD of God from heaven by being that very Word. And that Word of Truth in us will make us like the Father, through the Holy Spirit.  This is the Christmas Presences of the Word of God in us, that demonstrates that we indeed have 'God in us', and not just around us. This is the difference between acknowledging that Jesus came in the flesh as a present, but having Jesus inside of us by our living in that Word, being the presence of the Word in the world. We here at Spirit of Truth Ministry wish you a Merry Christmas. But more than that we pray that you will discover the joy of having the presence of God inside of you through His words of Truth, and knowing that you are in the Kingdom of God through those very words. Joy to you this Day!

Lessons and Carols~ I am sitting in my living room with my wife, listening to the rain beyond the windows, and to the live Service from Cambridge England at King's College of the Nine Lessons and Carols, that is offered each year on Christmas Eve, as a retelling of the story of the Birth of Jesus Christ, and the reason for His entry into this world.  This is an awe inpiritng event that we have been a part of for years. The readings and the music remind me of why we are here, and why Spirit of Truth Ministry exists. Jesus was born as The Truth, not only in His person as a human being, but also as the Word Made Flesh, that dwelt among us. It is easy to simply say "I Believe", but what is much more difficult is to KNOW what is the Truth, and be able to articulate it to those others that are seeking its True Light. We are all in need of the one and only Truth that was brought from heaven to earth by the very Son of God, jesus the Christ. Make this Christmas season a recommitment to the knowing and the understanding of the Truth of the Life Road, and how we can gain eternal life by abiding in these words that Jesus brought to us. Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, Christmas Eve December 24, 2021, at 10 AM PDT for a 'best of' program from our collection of recorded podcasts, at: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

The Program before Christmas~ Join Spirit of Truth Ministry for our last program before Christmas today, December 18, 2021, at 10 AM PDT, for The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling. We will be continuing our topic from yesterday, with a shout out to the celebration of the Birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Our program is located at: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministy for our program The Bible on Trial, today December 17, 2021, at 10AM PDT, for a conintuation of our study into the shift in the prophetic time line from Death Road to Life road. This shift has cause the world to move from death and destruction to Life and prosperity, that will happen very soon: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

Disaster Stikes~ The wide spread devastation from the massive tornado in Mayfield Kentucky and other parts of the midwest is incredible. The loss of life would be tragic at any time, but is even more so during this Christmas season. The insurance companies that have underwritten the property and lives are going to take a huge hit into the billions of dollars, and the emotional and spiritual toal on the people will last for a long time.  The question that I asked myself when I saw video of the destruction was 'why now'? An yes, I realize that some bad things just happen, and there is no conspiracy assiciated with these events. Yet given what is going on in the economic, political, spiritual and political world, where the 'Deep State' players are taking hit after hit, and losing on every front, it just seems more than coincident to me that something such as this horrific tornado that by virtue of its size and effect will cause people to focus on this temporal event, such that they miss the critical events that are taking place that will change the course of history for the world. Every time the world gets close to an event that will change the world for the better something has occured to distract the people from pushing through to a better and more fulfilling existance. This is the essence of the difference between the Life Road and the Death Road outcomes that we here at Spirit of Truth Ministry have been talking about since Rich Sterling introduces the concept in August of 2021. So just to be clear; the world has now transitioned from the Death Road prophecies to the Life Road outcomes, and we are seeing the last desparate attempts by Satan to stop it from happening. Do not lose heart or focus just because disaster strikes. Know that this is just Satan exercising his last attempts to stop something that cannot be stopped. We are almost there, so never, never, never give up!

Rain, Reins, Reign~ These words are examples of homophones - words that sound the same, but are spelled differently, and have three distinct meanings. It rained here in 'sunny' Southern California last night, much needed, and as yet too little to make a difference. And this morning when I got out of bed and looked outside there was still a slight drizzle in the air, and water coating the cars and driveway. These homophones captured my thoughts in Spirit and Scripture.  Rain ~ aids growth, refreshes, cleanses.  "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Isa. 55:10-11. Rein ~ directs or guides to a destination. 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent." Rev. 3:19. Reign ~ The rule of a Sovereign. 'He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne." Rev, 3:21. These three words define the identity of the Salvation that Jesus taught to His own disciples while He was here on earth. The words of Jesus are the words of Life, the water of Life. His words come from the Father, and are the onl words that will lead us to eternal life. They guide, reprove, and discipline us in the ways of Truth. And if we Abide (live) in His words we will truly be His disciples, and gain mastery (sovereignty) over ourselves and over sin, and thus gain entry into the Kingdom of God. NO ONE other than Jesus teaches this system of Truth.

Fog~ One of the axioms of military combat is that a plan of action never survives first contact with the enemy. This is also called 'The Fog of War". The solution to this problem is to have field and company grade leadership that knows the plan, but is able to adapt to different circumstances on the fly, with the abiity to make decisions without enough solid information to know the result before the fact.. And during this period of uncertainty due to lack of information about the enemies movements, disposition of force, or what is not in sight, that ability to decide 'right now' is incredibly important to the success or failure of the operation. I was watching TV news this morning to get the 'lay of the land' so-to-speak, and they showed video of the Los Angeles basin, and along the coast, covered in fog. Under the fog eveything was grey and dismal, but above the fog from the helicopter the sun was shining, and the low laying cloud tops were white. Right now there are many people that are living in a 'fog', where they don't really know the truth about what is going on in the country or in the world. They hear news and see reports of a 'new' Covid variant, or reports of a school shooting, or people being accosted and robbed on the street or in their homes, and they are frightened. They see what is happening in Washington D.C., and i other countries, where the leadership is either very incompetent or downright evil in their handeling of the political situations facing their countries, and they can't see a way forward to a brighter future. They are in a 'fog'! So what would happen if there was information that could lift that fog that is surrounding the world today; a spiritual fog that has been manufactured to do exactly what fog is supposed to do-keep people from seeing the truth. The Truth has already lifted the fog of the spiritual war we are in, if you look for it.
