Spirit of Truth/The Bible on Trial

If God exists then Truth is singular and absolute! If it isn't then God cannot exist, because Elohim would not be "The Way, the Truth, and the Life." God is therefore ALL truth, and TRUTH is therefore God. Jesus said that He came to earth to "testify to the truth", and that "everyone that is OF the truth hears HIS voice". If you listen to ANY other voice other that the voice of the Father and the Son, then your are NOT hearing truth. Those of us that LOVE the truth will seek to learn how to recognize the truth when we hear it; and the only way to hear it is to listen to the ONE that came to earth from the Father to teach the Truth. If you know the truth then you cannot be fooled; but since everyone has been fooled then the whole world has been compromised by lies. It is only through a humble and contrite heart that we can recognize that we do not know the truth, and will seek it out through the only words that ALWAYS speaks the truth, that is, the words of Jesus as recorded by His own eyewitness disciples while He was here on earth 'in the flesh'. Accept no substitutes.

We will continue our study into the prophecies conncerning the Faithful and Wise Bondservant and his fellow servants, and how this impact upcoming events in the Kingdom of the Heavens, and in the world.

Do you know of anyone that has told you that their only desire in this life is to believe lies as though they were truth? No? Me either! So why is it that in practice believing lies as though they were truth is an endemic condition of humanity across all walks of life, in all cultures and throughout all civilizations? Do you know of ANYONE that has NOT believed a lie and called it the truth? Have you? Everyone that has ever lived on this earth, but one, has been deceived. If you say you have not been deceived then you certainly have been; and this is the point, that everyone except Jesus Christ Himself has been mislead by Satan into believing with all their hearts that they KNOW the truth. And as Christians they say this primarily because they believe with ALL THEIR HEARTS that the Bible IS the inspired, inerrant, incontestible and incorruptible WORD OF GOD from cover to cover. That very belief proves that they have been deceived by Satan into this believing that this is true. Think about it; what greater deception could there be than for Satan to provide a way for sincere, Bible believing Christian to think that because there is a Bible, and THAT Bible came directly from the mouth of God, and every word in it is God breathed, and that surely a loving God would never allow anyone that believed this to be deceived. But that is exactly what happened; and because this happened the entire Christian church, and indeed EVERY church denomination that exists in the world, is unwitingly participating in the greatest deception that has ever happened. The purpose of Spirit of Truth Ministry is to warn those that ALREADY love the truth that they need to reassess EVERYTHING what they now believe to be true, and how they believe it. If you are honest with yourself you will know that it is the truth that EVERYONE has been deceived, including you.

What do you believe that is 'immoderate"? I consistently hear people speak of 'moderation' in a particular religion or philosophy, and I wonder how this idea of 'moderation in all things' affects their concept of TRUTH. Is their such a thing as a 'moderate' religion, and if so, how does it manifest itself in the practitioner? Does moderation cross cultural and spiritual lines, or is moderation "in the eye of the beholder"? What people 'believe' to be true is often based not on facts but on faith, that can be described as "allowing a person to believe a lie as if it is the truth, without accountability" (Rick Sterling). And IF this is true then how can a person KNOW FOR SURE that what they believe is the "God's honest truth", or simply something that came our of the mind of mankind?  We at Spirit of Truth Ministry have defined truth as "singular and absolute", as is confirmed by the Law and the Prophets in the Old Testament, and are confirmed by the words of Jesus that He gave His own eyewitness disciples found in the New Testament; and there in NO OTHER Truth but that. This gives us a basis for our belief that is outside of ourselves, and that is NOT based on faith. This concept makes finding truth much more sure, and satisfies the desire that we have to "Know the Truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32).

What is your 'standard for spiritual Truth'? Most poeple will say that spiritual 'truth' is as individual as DNA, no two 'truths' are the same. Some will say that this 'truth' is as individual and intimate as underware, and that once you put it on you forget about it, until it bunches up and needs adjusting. But if spiritual truth is as described here then there is simply NO POSSIBILITY for anyone to find it, because it is a moving target that can not be hit dead center.  This IS NOT what Jesus said.  "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." John 8:31-32. Jesus did not say you KNOW the truth right now, or that you can't ever know the truth eventually. The caviot for knowing the truth is that "You must continue in MY word", the words and teachings of Jesus, and NO ONE else. And THEN you will become a discple of His. This is the purpose of Spirit of Truth Ministry, to become disciples of Jesus through HIS words, and the words of the Father in the Old Testament. In doing this we CAN KNOW the spiritual truth that leads to eternal life.

Fake News! This is the most iconic phrase in America today. EVERYONE uses it to 'prove' what the 'other guy' is saying is a lie, or at least misleading. This phrase also informs on the sourse of the 'news', from major news sourses such as the New York Times and Washington Post, to second tier outlets such as Brietbart and The Guardian. They are all accused of diseminating 'fake news', and they all reject the idea that THEY are involved in misinformation. So which is right and which is not? Where is the standard of truth in the world found? CAN is be found? As far as national and world events are concerned, who knows? You 'pays your money and you takes your chances'! But when it is time to find spiritual truth involving salvation and eternal life there is only ONE source for the unadulterated and uncompromising truth, and that is THE WORDS OF JESUS THAT HE RECIEVED FROM HIS FATHER, AND WHICH HE GAVE TO HIS OWN EYEWITNESS DISCIPLES WHILE HE WAS HERE ON EARTH. No other words from any other source can with certainty be classed as the 'whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God'. Don't accept the fake news that is the basis for religions of the world as the truth. Jesus did not come to start any 'religion' as the way to salvation. Accept only the words from the source of ALL truth.

Without Rick Spirit of Truth Ministry would not exist, and this concept that the teachings of Jesus the Son of God are the arbiter of truth in the world would also not exist. One of my wifes favorite meme's is, "Dear Lord, give me patience; and I want it RIGHT NOW!" Now while this is funny on the surface, there is a great deal of truth in it, because many people in todays hectic, electronic filled, 'must have right now' and fast paced world want what ever it is they want right at the moment they want it. They feel that they might miss a 'golden opportunity' to post something on Face Book that will incite envy in their friends, and even total strangers who read the story of their lives in real time. But I also know that most of us that have even a little bit of life experience realize that patience is only adhieved through applied adversity, and delayed gratification.  So if we ask for patience from God there may be some challenge or hardship that comes as a result of that asking, which will lead to that very thing for which we have asked. If you truly want the patience of God you will have to endure the trials of life just long enough to overcome that which is standing in the way of you finding the truth. Rev 3:10  Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Many Christians believe that the Spiritual power of the Holy Spirit is manifest by physical means, and this was the purpose of the day of Pentecost, that has just been celebrated within the liturgical church. Yet Jesus in John 3 told Nicodemus, ""That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). In saying this Jesus separates the effects of the spiritual world from those of the physical world. In understanding the job of the Holy Spirit we must be careful to not assign more to the physical than to the spiritual. In Acrts 2 Luke tells a 'story' in which God demonstrates through powerful wind, an earthquake, and fire. Yet in the history in the Old Testament in 1Kings 19:11-12 Elijah experienced WIND, EARTHQUAKE and FIRE, and God WAS NOT in these things. God was in the 'still, small voice'; and THIS is the voice of the Holy Spirit, one that teaches truth through WORDS, but not just any words, ONLY the words of God the Father in the Old Testament, and the words of the SON in the new Testament.

To whom is the Bible On Trial program directed, and for whom will it have the most meaning? It is NOT for people that already feel that they know everything that they need to know about salvation and eternal life. These people are like the Leodiceans in that they say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked" (Rev.3:17). If you are NOT one of these people then this program is for you, because you are willing to risk learning something new, and compare it against what you already know to see if there is a fit that cannot be ignored.
