  • The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling
It is said that no one knows the future. That is true from a human perspective. Yet there is prophecy from any number of sources that does tell us the future. Satan does know somewhat of the future, and that which he does not know he often makes up to 'seem' as if he knows the future. There ARE being in the spiritual world that DO know the future, and those beings are Elohim (Three as ONE). And They have made it possible for Their Bondservants to understand how to interpret prophecy such that they will KNOW exactly what will happen to whom, and when. So in order to actually know the future you MUST be a Bondservant of the author of the future, Jesus Christ. Join us in this learning process as we learn the Revelation of Jesus.

A wedding is being prepared, and everything is ready, including the Groom. Everything is ready except for one minor thing, the bride is not ready; and those that were assigned to get the bride ready are themselves (right now) sound asleep. The bridesmaids need to be awakened, so they can dress the bride in 'fine linen clean and bright', yet this won't happen until the Best Man and the groomsmen wake up the bridesmaids. The Best Man is the Faithful and Wise Bondservant, and the groomsmen are his fellow bondservants seen in Matt. 24:42-51. They are being 'fed their food' RIGHT NOW, at the proper time. Join in this meal, and listen to The Bible On Trial.

Joy is not something that is promised by God for those that obey His Commandments. In fact, when you decide to 'do right', AKA, be holy, Satan will come down on you like a ton of bricks, trying to get you to go back on your 'process of Sanctification'. But for bondservants, this is the expected result of the commitment to righteousness. It is by sticking with it, and deciding day by day to 'do right to be right' that the Holy Spirit brings real 'Honest to God' JOY, that comes from the knowledge that we are 'overcoming as Jesus overcame'. To quote Winston Churchill, "Never, never, never . . . give up".

In the movie The Kingdom of Heaven the a young blacksmith is recruited by his liege lord to join a crusade in the Holy Land to Jerusalem. Through many twists and turns this young man (Orlando Bloom) is knighted and adopted by this dying Lord as his son; and he tells the young man to tell the royalty in Jerusalem that he is a natural born son. In Jerusalem, one of the first people that takes an interest in this young knight is the Bishop of Jerusalem, who takes him under his wing, and mentors him in the politics of the city, and the situation between the Christians and the Muslims. At one point the Bishop asks the young man what his father had told him to do when he reached Jerusalem. The answer is something that reflects the status of the Bondservants of Jesus today. The Knight said, "My father said for me to try to 'be a good knight'." The Bishop's told him, "Holy is doing right". This is what Jesus told His own eyewitness disciples, and they have passed this instruction on to us. Joh 14:15  "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments". This is what it is to BE HOLY! If we are to enter the Kingdom of God then we must be HOLY in fact, not in faith.

In today's religious world it is almost as if we are a contestant in a game show (like the old  show 'Truth or Consequence'), where it is compleley impossibe to 'get the right answer' and win the prize (eternal life), because the questions are rigged in favor of the 'lies of the Devil'. Unless a person first understands that the 'game is rigged' they can never hope to understand the truth; and will even defend their understanding of how salvation works 'to the end'. They do not realize that they have been fooled, and are therefore a fool. Do not be fooled into thinking that you cannot be fooled.

Join Spirit of Truth Ministry for an exciting and challenging search for truth in the Bible, as we use the words of Jesus as the standard by which we judge ALL truth. Not everything in the New Testament qualifies as 'God's Truth', because not all writers in the New Testament were eyewitnesses to the ministry of Jesus while He was here on earth. We will separate fact from fiction as we search for truth.

Self honesty is not as easy to achieve as some would have you believe. In fact, for ALL of us (at least at the start, it is IMPOSSIBLE. Jesus said that Satan has deceived the whole world. This means that eveyone in the entire world for all of recorded history has been (in one way or another) deceived. Jesus told his own disciples to, "See to it that no one deceives you". And if it were impossible for even His own disciples to be deceived Jesus would not have made that statement. The upshot is this; we must be careful to look at what we believe, and be sure of WHY WE BELIEVE IT. It is not enough to simply believe that Jesus exists, we must be sure as to WHY He came to earth, and WHAT He came to do. That is why Spirit of Truth Ministry exists.

When you cook something that you have never cooked before it is prudent to use a recipe. The recipe tells you the ingredients, the amounts, and the procedures with which to combine these ingredients to achieve the best results. But as sometimes happens, you do all these things, and follow the directions precisely, and the finished dish ends up either being tasteless, inedible, or ruined. What happened? Some how what you did in the kitchen did not 'pan out'. In most cases this is not a life threatening result, alhough your children may think so. If this happens, all you need do is call up your favorite take out resaurant (pizza, or Chinese), and all is good. Jesus gave His disciples the recipe for salvation; it is called the Process of Sanctification. This process combines the ingredients that when used precisely as God intended will lead to eternal life. Yet there is another cook in the kitchen, that would have you believe that you don't need the recipe that God provided in the Old Testament, and in the Words of Jesus in the New Testament; all you need is to 'believe' that Jesus will cook for you, that you don't need to do anything except to accept Him as your chef, and the recipe will turn out fine. But this is simply NOT the case. God does not cook the recipe for salvation FOR you. He shows you how to cook this meal for yourself. You must find out the ingredients; you must understand how to combine them, and in what quantities, and with the exact  weights and measures such that your food turns out to be JUST LIKE HIS.  Don't give up if your first attempts are not perfect. Jesus is happy to show you where you have missed the mark. By watching how He did it, you will come to the understanding as to how to do it yourself, and like Him, you will sit with Jesus on His throne as He overcame and sat down with His Father on His throne (Rev.3:21).

Christians are constantly taught from the pulpit that 'belief is the key to the Kingdom'. They are also taught that 'faith confirms their belief'. These are EASY beliefs that require no reasoning to acquire, and there is no need to put those beliefs into practice. In fact, Christians are taught that DOING anything that will try to affect your salvation will only get in the way of the 'free gift' of salvation that is provided you through the blood of Jesus on the cross. Yet there is nothing in these statements that indicates just WHAT those beliefs are or need to be, or any qualification for that belief to act toward salvation. A key statement here at Spirit of Truth Ministry is this: "Faith allows a person to believe a lie as if it is the truth, without accoutability".  In other words, it matters greatly WHAT you believe, and also that you will be held accountable for that belief in the judgment. The idea that ANY belief in ANYTHING or ANYONE will bring you to salvation is anathema to what Jesus Christ taught to His own disciples while He was here on earth.
