Spirits with Crime

Hey spooky souls! Today’s episode is a wild ride. First, we’re diving into the chilling story of The Order of the Solar Temple, a secretive cult that ended in tragedy and mystery, leaving questions about loyalty, faith, and control that still haunt investigators today. Then, we get into the eerie coast of Provincetown, Massachusetts, to explore the Black Flash: a shadowy figure that has terrified locals for decades. Grab a drink, get cozy, and let’s talk cults, ghosts, and the kind of stories that make you double-check the locks at night. Cheers!

Have you seen something strange or read about a mysterious group or ghostly figure? Don’t forget to leave a review or comment! I want to hear it!

Happy Saturday, spooky souls! Today’s episode is going to take you from the deserts of New Mexico to the dance floors of Chicago. On the true crime side, we’re digging into the chilling case of the West Mesa Bone Collector, a haunting unsolved mystery that left investigators sifting through a graveyard in the sand. Then, we take it to the dance floor with one of Chicago’s most famous ghost stories: Resurrection Mary, the vanishing hitchhiker who may just still be waiting for her next dance partner.

If you enjoy today’s deep dive, don’t forget to leave a rating or a review! Have your own theory on the Bone Collector? Or maybe you’ve had your own run-in with a wandering ghost? Drop a comment, send me a DM, or leave a review and share your story. Cheers!

Everything’s bigger in Texas, including its shadows. In this week’s episode of Spirits with Crime, we’re uncorking a glass of history and horror as we take a look at The Servant Girl Annihilator, a brutal 1800s killer who stalked Austin long before Jack the Ripper hit London. Then, we check in to Austin’s Driskill Hotel, a lavish landmark where luxury meets lingering spirits. From spectral brides to ghostly children, the Driskill proves that some guests never check out.

Pour yourself a drink, settle in, and let’s untangle these Texas tales. Did the Servant Girl Annihilator inspire Jack the Ripper theories for you too? I love hearing your takes, so be sure to leave me your twisted theories. Cheers!

Happy Saturday, spooky souls! Today is all about brains and beaks, as we go deep into the strange and unsettling side of history and hauntings. First up: the lobotomy. Yep, that infamous “medical miracle” that turned out to be more horror story than healing. We unpack the chilling history of ice picks to the brain, the doctors who swore by it, and the heartbreaking aftermath for patients who never signed up for what they got.

Then we’re trading white coats for black cloaks as we head to Venice, where the shadow of a plague doctor is said to still stalk Campo San Lio. With their eerie bird-like masks and mysterious presence, plague doctors were honestly, already nightmare fuel!

So grab your drink, cozy up, and let’s dig into the weird, and the wild, history of medicine. Don’t forget to share your thoughts, and tell me which story freaked you out most. Cheers!

Grab your garlic, lock your doors, and maybe don’t listen if you have a weak stomach… because today’s episode is not for the faint of heart. We’re diving into the nightmare fuel that is Australia’s most infamous cannibalistic killer, the Butcher of Aberdeen herself, and then flying over to the Philippines to meet the Manananggal, a winged, vampire demon that will make you rethink your late-night snack run.

So pour yourself something strong, press play, and when you’re done, let me know your thoughts in the comments. Your feedback not only keeps the spirits talking, but it helps more spooky souls find their way to our little haunted corner of the internet. Cheers!

Hello, spooky souls, today’s episode is brought to you by: absolute nightmares… and clowns.

Buckle up for a double dose of unsettling weirdness, as this week we’re diving face-first into a story that sounds like it came straight from a Stephen King film. Marlene Warren, shot in cold blood by someone dressed as a clown holding balloons and flowers. What happens when love, jealousy, and grease paint collide? Then, pack your bags- we’re checking into the infamous Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada. With a graveyard next door, hundreds of clowns inside, and countless ghost stories, this spot is either your worst nightmare or your weird little happy place. Either way, we’re going there. Cheers!

Hey, spooky souls- happy Saturday!

We’re starting today's short episode with the devastating case of Alexia Telles, a story that highlights just how real and terrifying the monsters hiding in plain sight can be.

Then we’re heading deep into the swamps of Murphysboro, Illinois, where an ooze-covered cryptid made headlines: the Big Muddy Monster.

So whether you’re here for the true crime, or the cryptids (or both), I hope you’ll listen, reflect, and share your thoughts. Leave a review, drop a comment, and let me know: What do you believe the Big Muddy Monster is? And how do we as a community stay loud for victims like Annissa?

Happy Spooky Saturday! This week's episode is one wild ride through science, scams, and sleep demons. First up, we're diving fork-first into the empty world of Dr. Linda Hazzard, the so-called “fasting specialist” who promised health through starvation… and left a trail of bodies instead. Talk about toxic diet culture in its most literal form.

Have you ever woken up and felt like something’s watching you in the dark corner of your room? Well, you might now. Because, then, we head into a different kind of nightmare: sleep paralysis, the infamous Hat Man, and the disturbing legend of the Russian Sleep Experiment.

This episode is packed with eerie science, historical horror, and some truly terrifying tales you won’t want to listen to alone at night. Cheers!

Got thoughts on whether the Hat Man is real? Want to scream about Linda Hazzard’s audacity with me? Leave a comment, drop a review, or tag the show on socials! I love hearing your takes- and yes, your nightmares count too.

Hey, spooky souls! Strap in, because today’s episode has everything: doomsday prophecies, murder-for-God, miraculous visions, and one cult leader who really put the “evil” in his name.

First, we’re heading into the dusty, dangerous world of Ervil LeBaron: the self-declared prophet behind one of the most violent polygamist cults in American history. With a name like a Wild West outlaw, a Bible in one hand and a hit list in the other, Ervil preached blood atonement and wasn’t afraid to have his enemies (and family!) taken out if they crossed him. Then we flip the script, and go from cult leader to celestial encounter with the story of Our Lady of Fátima: one of the most famous Marian apparitions in the Catholic world.

Be sure to drop your thoughts, your theories, or just say hey, especially if you’ve ever had a religious vision or escaped a toxic spiritual group. Reviews and comments help more spooky souls find the show! Cheers!
