Spiritual maturity is being a professional Christian. A professional means making studying the Word of God under a qualified pastor a daily habit. You can’t grow to maturity by studying only a few minutes a day. It needs to be a time and concentration commitment. “Growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” develops divine viewpoint and spiritual common sense. As you grow you’ll reach spiritual self-esteem and then have a personal sense of destiny. “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content” (Phil 4:11).
