Spock Adjacent

The Men review Discovery's return to Klingon intrigue and political backbiting. How do they fare against TNG-DS9's storied history?

The Men of Micheaux are back reviewing STAR TREK: DISCOVERY as it boldly heads into its sophomore season on CBS All-Access. Stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones and the 'captain' Anson Mount shine in both premiere episodes but the emphasis on the surrounding crew has Vince deeply admiring actress Oyin Oladejo in the role of bridge crewman Lt. Joann Owosekun.

Vince and Len are totally mystified 10 year olds again as they review the wonder of the 70s syndicated documentary series IN SEARCH OF, dutifully hosted by Leonard Nimoy. The Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, even Atlantis doesn't stand a chance against our man Spock.

AUDIO PROBLEMS AHEAD - a poorly mic'd Vince leads Len on an exploration of possibly the worst episode of Star Trek of any series - ST:NG's 'Code of Honor' from its premiere season.

SPOCK ADJACENT returns with an exploration of the Emmy-Award winning Black Mirror homage 'The USS Callister'

The season finale of Star Trek Discovery has come and gone with a bang, boom, whiff and an ooooh! Vince and Len talk about it plus the future of SPOCK ADJACENT.

Star Trek Discovery keeps pushing the envelope and challenging the beloved Star Trek rankings with crackling acting and daring, innovative plots buoyed by breathtaking visuals. Sonequa Martin-Green and Michelle Yeoh sparkle together.

The Mirror Mirror Universe is BANANAS! Strictly bananas! And apparently - the Men of Micheaux love bananas! Now the question is what next?

Episode 12 of Star Trek Discovery is known to the world as 'Vaulting Ambition' but in the world of Micheaux, we all know that the official title is "VINCE CALLED IT!"

Episode 11 'The Wolf Inside' takes us deeper into the psyche of the Mirror Mirror universe just Ash Tyler's psyche starts to shred apart before everyone's eyes, including his own! OOH, ain't it great to have goooood Trek again?
