Brando Sando wrote what I think a short story although it's not that short, so perhaps it technically qualifies as a novella. It's a really enthralling story so far, and I'm a little sad that there's only one more episode's worth of coverage. However, this gives me a bit of a peek into the other universes that I haven't seen in my coverage of Mistborn.
I'm very into this whole concept, and also I feel like I just need to go find the collection it's from, Dangerous Women. I am really delighted with these badass bitches.

These episodes are the ones where our crew finally leaves Drum Island with Chopper in tow. I find this section to be one of the least satisfying because we have yet MORE cruelty directed toward Chopper for NO FUCKING REASON, and then the "cherry blossoms" turn out to be just pink snow.

This is the second Makota Shinkai film that Candace has commissioned, and apparently he's working on a third one that I'm hoping to get to cover eventually.
I have to admit tho, this film didn't work for me nearly as well at Your Name because the ending felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to be. Shinkai made some statements about what he intended, but in my opinion that didn't come across and I would up kind of disliking the characters due to their choices.

This trio of episodes is when we get a character who can fight by throwing his afros, but from what I'm told in the comments while I'm recording, that is NOT a power that comes from a devil fruit??? It's just something that he can do??????
Also, Chopper has a secret weapon called Rumble Balls that help him transform into even more forms, and I wonder if there's any chance of some science giving Luffy some additional powers later?

These episodes are the ones in which we get to see even more of poor Chopper's history, and all of my assumptions turned out to be wrong. There was a whole other guy that Chopper....interned with? So to speak?....before the Witch, and while I can understand the affection that Chopped has for him...I just don't like the guy. He kinda sucks.
That said, I'm thinking that teaming up with Luffy's crew will be a definite step up in Chopper's life. If, that is, he accepts the invitation.

This chapter is the one that has made me the most nervous so far. We are finding out that a whole planet is populated by beings that are not JUST overshadowed, but are literal avatars of the Lone Power. I honestly don't even know what to do with this information. Also, there's the whole thing with Nita's father being totally MIA (not to mention Tom & Carl) and I don't like the smell of that either.
