Turns out that Mathilda is the key to everything, and I wonder if the fact that she low-key saves them, or the fact that a sentient robot was the one to really seal the deal, will help with trans-human or robot relations in the future.

Wow, I can't believe that we're dropping a mystery like this the episode before the season (and, temporarily, series) finale. This episode was sort of overshadowed by what happens with the sex tape at the end, but I should mention that I actually enjoyed the mystery with Weevil. The only thing that bums me out is how Veronica has continued to mistrust him despite the many times he has shown up for her. Girl, come on!

THE FIRST SEASON IS ALREADY OVER! I can't believe it! But I really enjoy the heck out of this show and I'm pleased to hear that there's apparently a third season on the horizon.
This finale falls into the unfortunate trap that so many shows do, where the lead character is assumed to be the person we're rooting for, and it feels like he's being rewarded for behavior that to me doesn't merit any sort of satisfaction on his part. Otis, buddy, look. I like you okay. But you're just not Ola material. You're not even on the same planet. So enjoy it while it lasts.
