I was worried this episode was going to be about Winry getting somehow roped into things again, but thankfully she's put into a train at the end of the episode and sent safely away. Lan Fan though, is forced to sacrifice her whole arm to throw Bradley off her scent, which is so badass but also people just keep losing their arms!?
Things culminate in a showdown with Gluttony at an barn outside of town, despite our friends thinking they've got him well secured. Turns out, the big guy has another weapon that nobody knew about.

This episode was really fucking heavy. There's so much grief, there's so much violence, and there are some really effective, stark examples of how these cycles of violence continue to play out endlessly, even spanning generations. Poor Winry unexpectedly gets hit with the news that the guy Ed is fighting is the same guy who killed her parents, and we get to see the flashback of how exactly it went down. She's faced with a choice; does she avenge them, or honor them by living the way that they themselves lived?

We've got two main plots here: first, there's of course Guillermo accompanying his newly infiltrated vampire-killer club, supposedly to sabotage it before they hurt his people. That does not go at all as he planned, mostly because it turns out that they were not after his people at all, but also because he does the majority of the vampire killing.
Then, there's the deadly curse from Bloody Mary that winds up in Nandor's email inbox. Amazing.

This installment of Sex Education gets a whole lot of things done, and I believe that's because so much of the focus is on the way that characters communicate with each other. We've got Isaac coming clean to Maeve after lying for months, there's Jean and Jakob sitting down and being honest about what they want, there's Adam figuring out how to tell Eric what he wants and also how to ask for help with school...and then there's people like the old Headmaster, who seems to still be unable to be completely honest with anyone about his current situation.

In these episodes we see the immediate aftermath of the fight between Colonel Mustard and Lust, and Havoc is apparently paralyzed from the way down. This sucks. I hate this for him.
Meanwhile, Ed is trying to use himself as bait for the Homunculi by putting his life in danger by fighting Scar in the street. I'm not sure exactly how effective this will be to his aims, but Gluttony and Wrath were definitely coming to the party before Ling messes up their plans.

In this one we're getting some additional information about what could potentially be going on with Al's body in the portal based on some revelations about the bodies that were conjured with alchemy. The issue I'm having is that there are an awful lot of leaps being made that don't seem to have a lot of evidence behind them, and I'm wondering if there's some additional info in the manga that might fill in the gaps I'm seeing in the show.
