On this week's episode, the guys have an awesome talk about Matt’s recent LARPing, including the rules of engagement and how exactly magic works. There’s also the now expected mentioning of the weather (we try not to play into Brit stereotypes but it seems this one is unavoidable), brief mention of Attack On Titan, brief descriptions of SpikeTV’s The Mist and FX’s The Strain and a brief section on LasagnaCat, AGAIN. These brief sections of course totalling 54 glorious off-topic minutes.

This week’s homework was of course Jacob’s Ladder, an arguable modern classic that helped shape a wealth of games and films after it including a series that rhymes with Violent Mill. The guys, who have all seen it before but enjoyed this recent rewatch, all chime in with their experiences both old and new. They also talk about the iconography and themes borrowed from the movie since it was released, it’s origin and screenwriter’s two years in a monastery, and of course, the beautiful country of Tibet; which we NOW know speaks Tibetan. Just pretend our ignorance is the last futile dream of a dying STOP OH YES WAIT A MINUTE MISTER POSTMAN…

This week’s homework was of course Galaxy Of Terror, and this 2+ hour behemoth of an episode wouldn’t be complete without an in-depth analysis of weird horror movies no one has seen. Galaxy has a very interesting premise, and we all agree a lot of the elements in here could have made a good movie. Unfortunately, we have… this. One thing’s for sure, Cabren is now the Master.
