It’s the 50th episode of the Sports Lordz, BAY BAY! This week, Kevin returns from Europe, tells us in about his trip and we play the UK Tube name game. Then we get into some football talk, covering the Antonio Brown hijinks, Hard Knocks, a college football update on Tathan Martell, and the “horns down” rule. The we get into some baseball as our beloved Atlanta Braves continue to hold off the Nats, the Mets continue to “met”, and we look at the playoff race. Then Kevin raps for us, we shout out the mighty Atlanta United, discuss baseball walk up music, and fail to understand the Little League World Series. Later, in honor of our 50th episode, we finally have our long-awaited sit-down interview with musical icon, Sir Paul McCartney. This time he, 100% does not get interrupted and bumped for another guest as has happened in the past. No way that happens again. As has been the tradition of the first 49 episodes, this milestone 50th episode ends with another round of DABS!

This week on Sports Lordz, while Kevin continues to globe-trot overseas and Herb is also out sick, we continue on without them and are joined by guest host and friend of the show Micah Sherman (High Maintenance, The Bob Ross Challenge, etc). The heatwave continues and so do the Sports Lordz! This week, we get into how we are dealing with the ongoing heatwave in New York, Kevin discusses how he works at a haunted establishment and how ghosts are everywhere. Once we get to the sports, we talk MLB trade deadline, what on earth the Mets are doing, Trevor Bauer’s meltdown, and the emergence of everyone’s new favorite pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles, Dr. Poo Poo. Then we shift gears and talk some Last Chance U, college football, and how we wish the transfer rules would change. Later, we break from the comedy and perform a live table read of Jimmy’s new screen play, Ghost Wall: The Movie. It’s a preview of a thriller that is sure to win many awards in the future and hopefully spawn a franchise that will most definitely stand the test of time. We survived the heatwave from last week and are back with a new episode! This week, we start out discussing Dana Carvey movies and how this political hell world we live in has produced “great” comedy much like many dummies predicted. Then we investigate Greg Maddux and uncover the disgusting monster he truly was as a player. Later, we are joined once again by American icon, Regis Philbin. Regis fills us in on what he’s been up to since his last visit to the Sportatorium, how he’s handled the heat wave, his love of the Yankees, and shares some of his favorite pranks. After celebrating America’s birthday, it’s time to celebrate a new episode of the Sports Lordz! This week despite some audio issues in the beginning (everything is fixed by the 11th minute), we recap our 4th of July celebrations and discuss the origins of competitive eater and American hero, Joey Chestnut. We look back at the USWNT winning the World Cup and what we can all do to really support these badass ladies beyond this single tournament. NBA free agency continues to be bonkers with Kawhi Leonard finally picking his new team, Russell Westbrook left high and dry, and our beloved Atlanta Hawks making some minor moves. Happy 4th of July Serfs! Even a national holiday couldn’t stop your Sports Lordz from cranking out another classic episode. It’s been a week full of championships and podcast champs, the Sports Lordz have got you covered.
