Spot of Nerd

Live from Rumble Studio!

We're officially here folks... LIVE at #sandiegocomiccon2025 and lo and behold, we have Marvel's latest #thefantasticfourfirststeps premiering this evening!

Of course we need to talk about it! Review it... And let you know just how well, or TERRIBLE this film really is... Or was?

Put simply, this isn't necessarily a BAD film... In fact, the first half was... Wait for it! GREAT!

But that second half... Once FEMALE #silversurfer develops emotions for assisting with the slaughter of TRILLIONS, the movie completely NERFS itself into oblivion...

That NERFING includes the infamous #galactus as well... Dam shame too when it comes to the overall appearance of the iconic BADDIE...

Let me know your thoughts in the comments... Hit that subscribe and like button, and don't forget to follow #spotofnerd everywhere as we spend the next 4 days at the GREATEST COMIC CONVENTION that ever was!

Full breakdown of #sdcc2025 to come in the near future! You don't want to miss it!

Say hi if you were able to go to SDCC! LATERS!

At long last folks, the third REBOOT (in the past 20 years…) of one of comic books greatest LEGENDS has officially hit the big screen once more…

#superman

And with #jamesgunn at the helm, what could possibly go wrong?! Take away the #dc factor I might add…

Put simply… Just about everything. I’ll explain my stance in this video and to sound cocky, actually am quite proud of the content provided here. Because here’s the thing… This movie was genuinely NOT terrible. It was in fact, decent.

So why is it sh!t? Because like today’s mindset… Today’s media environment… Everything has to be POLITICAL. EVERYTHING!

When those with their heads on straight know it absolutely doesn’t have to touch politics. All it needs is a GREAT story.

But na, we can’t have that can we?! We need Superman to be sent to Earth to CONQUER it… The ACTUAL FU$K?!

God forbid Superman stands for truth, justice, and the AMERICAN way…

Dam, dam shame…

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and punch your way into that subscribe button! Don’t forget to follow us on Rumble as well where we’re LIVE streaming at least once a week! Soon to have guest stars!

P.S. SDCC 2025 is so freaking CLOSE!

Don’t look up… LATERS!

Better late than never... It's time we discuss #jurassicworldrebirth and all the... Interesting? That this movie was. Albeit, this now being the 23rd film in the franchise, it's crazy to think Universal Pictures is still making these things!

But never the less, I actually shot a more standard review and it was quiet A$$, so I figured why not!? Let's hop on the LIVE stream and go over the (pun intended) WORLD OF DINOSAURS!

Then, we can't forget what today was... Or is, or what have you... It's #4thofjuly #americasbirthday #godblessamerica And everything else in between!

And yes, I'm going to briefly get political, because it's important now more than ever that we no longer FEAR showing our love for the greatest nation on the planet... The United States of America!

God bless #presidenttrump as well!

Hit that SUBSCRIBE and FOLLOW button(s) for me and tap the LIKE button. Let me know your thoughts in the COMMENTS! Are you still watching the DINOS?! Did you have a great celebration today? I hope you left milk and cookies out for #captainamerica LOL!

Lord knows if I'm doing this properly, so my thanks for dealing with all the wonderful this stuff entails...

Keeping this short and sweet, let's talk about TWO NEW summer films that dropped this week, #f1themovie and #megan2!

I wanted to start doing more LIVE streams in the coming weeks and future, including adding special guests, so hopefully in time I'll learn a bit more on how to use all these new features!

It’s been over a DECADE since we last saw the RAGE ZOMBIES running around the UK… And in the latest from Danny Boyle’s RAGE VIRUS mind… We pick up 28 Years Later!

But is #28yearslater worth the wait? Yes, pun intended. No, not the waiting…

Shockingly, this really is just a BAD movie. We don’t even get the theme music for crying out loud!

I was so hopeful for this film when we first got word of a third film in the 28 SERIES and when we got our first look at that first trailer, I couldn’t pick my jaw off the floor for hours!

If anything else, get whomever edited that trailer together to re-write this entire movie… Because we, the audience, have been completely lied to…

Put simply, this movie has no idea what it wants to be… Do you want a scare? Dunno… How about a thrill ride? Not 100% sure on that… What about character development and continuing where we left off in #28weekslater? Hmm, that’s a no from me.

What. The. Actual. Eff?!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and if you’ve found out what this movie was trying to accomplish, please let me know by hitting that SUBSCRIBE button now!

Thanks for watching good people! Don’t forget we’ve got a double-header next week with #f1 and #megan2… I can’t wait! Plus #sdcc2025 is one month away!

To #jimmy and the flopping *PARTS*, LATERS!

Here we are folks, the 2025 SUMMER at the MOVIES is in full swing! From ‘Karate Kid Legends’, to now seeing #anadearmas in her latest ACTION-PACKED flick, #ballerina… 2025 is already turning out some EPIC new films that I encourage everyone to go see!

Even with #tomcruise and the final #missionimpossible film, ‘The Final Reckoning’, all indications are pointing towards films that, albeit may not be perfect… They are definitely hitting all the right markers…

No WOKE garbage. It’s truly that simple.

I’m sure many were afraid with this Ballerina movie going to be a simple case of “GIRL BOSS”, but I can promise you it is far from such things… Yes, the story is very predictable, but the World of John Wick is only expanding… And expanding in ALL the right directions.

From incredible stunt work, mind-blowing action, Ana (literally) KILLS in her debut alongside cinemas greatest ASSASSIN KILLER Mr. Keanu Reeves…

DO NOT MISS THIS FILM IN THEATERS! TRUST ME!

If you’ve seen it, let me know your thoughts in the COMMENTS and go ahead and throw me some love by hitting that SUBSCRIBE button!

P.S. #elonmusk is a b!tch.

And we’ve got #sdcc2025 just over one month away… I can’t wait!

Pray for those in L.A. folks… LATERS!

Well, what can I say? We’ve discussed many films and television from #appletv and transparently, there are far more MISSES than there are VICTORIES… And low and behold, #fountainofyouth might just be the WORST of them all!

Not just the WORST from Apple TV… But one of the WORST films ever made!

How on Earth this film was green lit is ABSOLUTELY astounding… How the actors and actresses read the script and said, “Yes, let’s do this!” Is well beyond me.

And let’s not forget the COPYRIGHT! Holy moly… Fountain of Youth literally steals story, photography, and writing from dam near many Lucasfilm and other major studio movies… From #piratesofthecaribbean to #indianajones… There isn’t a single SINGULAR thought in this film… IT’S CRAZY LAUGHABLE!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and since I’m saving you from watching this atrocity, the least you can do is hit that subscribe button!

Thanks for watching ya’ll and we’ll catch ya in the next one, LATERS!
