Springville Church of the Nazarene's Podcast

Today Pastor Mark shares the letter to Pergamum from Revelation 2:12-17.  This letter could be summarized in 2 words:  NO COMPROMISE.  It is a call to us today as much as it was to the church in Pergamum.  A call to wholehearted loyalty and allegiance to Christ.  Jesus is asking us to be "all in."   Listen and be encouraged!

Today Pastor Mark takes us through the letter to Smyma.  Smyma was called "The Jewel of Asia".  The church there was struggling and Jesus commended them for the pressure, poverty and persecution they were enduring.  He counsels them to be fearless and remaining faithful even though they knew they would lose their lives for that faith.  The letter to Smyma could be written to us today.  Listen and be encouraged because Jesus KNOWS what we are going through and will go through in the future as Christians.

Today we look at the letter to the church in Ephesus in our series from Revelation - Seven Letters to Seven Churches.  Pastor Mark shares a powerful lesson for all of us about what is most important to God....our RELATIONSHIP not our RELIGION.

Today we begin an eight week series on the book of Revelation.  Specifically this was written "to the seven churches" (Revelation 1:4; 11) but all so generally written to any and all who will read it (Revelation 1:3; 22:17-19).  Blessings are promised to all who read this book and do what it says.  Definitely a very good reason to get your Bible and read along as Pastor Mark shares this series.

"When He said that He Himself would rise again from the dead on the third day after He was crucified, He said something that only a fool would dare to say..unless He was sure He was going to rise.  NO founder of any world religion known to man ever dared to say a thing like that!"  (Wilbur Smith)  Today Pastor Mark gives 5 very compelling evidences for the Resurrection.

Continuing our Always Be Ready series today Pastor Mark gives Evidence for Christianity.  America has become not only a "melting pot" of cultures, but also religions.  Today's lesson will answer the question, "Why Christianity?"

Today as we continue our series " Always Be Ready" Pastor Mark shares how we can be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the Bible is the written word of God and is totally accurate and eternally relevant.  Listen and hear how that the Bible is INCOMPARABLE, INSPIRED and INCISIVE.

We are continuing with our new series Always Be Ready and today we will find the Evidence for Jesus.  Why do we believe what we believe?  There is no "middle ground" with Jesus.  Either He is Lord as He says he is or he is a liar or lunatic.  Listen and decide your verdict!

Today we start a new series "Always Be Ready".   In this lesson, Evidence of God, Pastor Mark shares why we believe what we believe.   Whether you are or are not convinced that there is a God, today's lesson is for you!

Today we are honored to have our Associate Pastor,  Doug Kamberg, give us an excellent reminder of the power of prayer.  Listen and be encouraged to make prayer a vital part of your Christian walk.
