  • Route 66 - Revelation Part 2

Well Friends, our journey has come to and end.  Today is the last lesson in the Route 66 series.  Because of the pandemic it has taken much longer than first planned, but well worth the time investment as we have experienced an overview of all 66 books of the Bible.  Today we will conclude with chapters 12-22 of Revelation.  Remembering that prophecy is not to scare us, but prepare us...  Listen as Pastor Mark shares three things we can take with us when we die.

Cruising on through the 66 books of the Bible finds us in the book of II Peter.  "What kind of people ought you to be?"  Looking into the book of II Peter we learn that we are to be a people participating in the divine nature of God (II Peter 1:1-11); we are to be a people protecting the divine truth (II Peter 1:12-2:22) and we are to be a people preparing for the divine judgement(II Peter 3:1-13).  Listen as Pastor Mark shares these truths and so much more from this amazing book.

  • Route 66 - I Peter

WOW! What a adventure we have experienced and continue to experience in I Peter today.
A powerful lesson in having HOPE in the midst of SUFFERING.  Life's hardships can make our faith more genuine, and there can be a tremendous opportunity to witness as unbelievers see that, not only are we going through the suffering remaining faithful, but actually we are rejoicing!  An excellent reminder of who we are in Christ and Whose we are in Christ!

  • Route 66 - James

We continue down Route 66 today and stop in the book of James.  Do you have your mouth under control?  Do you have a caring heart for others, especially orphans/widows?  Are you keeping yourself pure/clean?  Do you want to know what it looks like to live a Christlike life?  This book of James has answers for all of us, but we must choose to "Gaze" not just "Glance" into God's perfect Word.  Listen and be encouraged.

  • Route 66 - Philemon

On the road again, we stop today in the book of Philemon.  Even though it is a very short book, it is powerful and holds strong lessons for us as Christians.  Philemon was a convert of Paul and a leader in the church of Colossae.  Philemon had an unresolved relationship with a previous slave that had done him wrong.  The slave, Onesimus had become a brother in Christ and Paul was sending him back to Philemon with a plea to accept Onesimus back as a brother.  This letter holds deep lessons for us concerning forgiveness and true brotherhood in the Lord.

  • Route 66 - Titus

Continuing our journey through the 66 Books of the Bible finds us in Titus.  Titus was one of Paul's most trusted companions.  The theme of this brief letter is "Doing Good".  However, it is very important that we are not saved by doing good; we are saved for doing good.  Titus is encouraged to engage all in what good we should be doing and why.  This is an excellent reference and check list for all of us to know if we are, in fact, living a life of doing good.
