Living a life of authenticity isn’t a strategy. It’s a state of being. Being a person who doesn’t give in to the whims of others or even the ways of the world to impress or get ahead. Because when our motivation is to please people, we pretend. We put on masks which is a miserable way to live. But that’s how life works, right? That’s what many people think and how most survive. And that’s why our lives feel so shallow. So artificial. It’s also why most people go through life with an overwhelming sense of loneliness. So is there a better way? Hell yes. Of course, there is. Living with authenticity in an artificial world isn’t a fantasy or fairytale, and I’m here to prove it and to help you live wholeheartedly one step. And one day at a time.

My name is Timothy Eldred. I’m a husband, father, writer, speaker, seeker, pipe smoker, bourbon drinker, and person of faith. For the last 30 years, I’ve helped people discover what it means to just—be. To experience the freedom of living with authenticity. And I’m excited to share with you lessons I’ve learned from my own life while also letting you eavesdrop on conversations with my guests who’ve also battled to become comfortable and confident as they’ve learned to let go and stopped faking it to fit in.
