SSAA Podcast

Oh hey, I did some another review on Anime 3000. I feel like I've provided more content for that website than I do my own. Well, deal with it. We still have more shows on the way. Just need to organize with other people. Episodes are already planned for up until 90 so it's not like we have nothing. Really, it's that there are so many video games out. Honestly, I spent the whole day yesterday before this posting playing Mass Effect 2 because I wanted to import my character, even though I already had a file in Mass Effect 3. I clearly hate myself. I'm just glad online play in Street Fighter x Tekken is broken as hell, or else I would be playing that just as much. Oh yeah, I talk about Dance In The Vampire Bund in this Bonus Round episode. Another Challenge Accepted contender. By the way, the "Make A New SSAA Podcast Logo" contest is still on (title subject to change). Small delay but we are back with an episode that could have gone longer had the series we were focusing on had ended before the recording. We still managed to spoil the hell out of a bunch of stuff but most of it you will still enjoy once you look it up. Gothic Garaa, or whatever he calls himself, stops by to talk about Negima. The story about a boy and his magic stick getting a bunch of girls naked. Then, it becomes a shounen action show. Weird.

Hey, can you guess when this was recorded? Obviously it shouldn’t matter because we haven’t seen a majority of the shows in this season. So all of our predictions of each show can still be true. The obvious exception is Aquarion EVOL because we know it will be good despite what people think of us. So, here is the Winter season anime preview for 2011.

It's time to tackle the next Toei machine. We are joined by Dominic of the AniManga Podcast to talk about HeartCatch Pretty Cure. Having just done a Sailor Moon episode, it would make sense to talk about the series which you can say is taking the helm of the magical girl genre. Since this was one of the most recent versions to come out, we thought it would be a good jumping in point for people who are new to the franchise. Now, open your heart for the next...Faiz...

We are back with the first episode of 2012 talking about the games we have played in 2011. We are joined by TrickTheTM and Boywec to ramble the night away about everything that forced all the delays for this podcast. Man, video games happened all over 2011.

The year is not over yet. After some time and a computer crash, we can finally release a new episode of the Ass Backwards Anime Podcast. If you were following the Twitter account, you may have seen spamming of Sailor Moon some time ago. This episode is the result of all that. I thought it would have been interesting to do something like a live commentary of us watching Sailor Moon. I was luckily not crazy enough to record every single second of it because it would have just been us staring at the screen while you hear the show in the background. I did end up getting 7 hours of audio that I painstakingly lowered to less than 3 hours. I hope you enjoy my slow decent into madness.

Three years later, we are still here. To mark this event we decided to go on a road trip to Atlanta to cover Anime Weekend Atlanta. Then, we realized that there was nothing that we wanted to talk about at the con so we went ahead and recorded an episode that had been in the works for a few months now. Actually, it was meant to recorded already but we were too lazy to make a big event out of it. So after an exhausting day at the con, we just read the results of the Top of the Aughts. Yeah, we had this whole award ceremony theme planned. There was suppose to be an orchestra and everything.

Do you really want me to explain? Sketch joins me to talk about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Honestly, the less I say right now, the better.
