As Paul opens his letter to the church in Corinth he gives thanks (even though he will go on to disagree with them) and reminds them that they can be confident of Christ’s grace at work in them. We are left with the question: where is our confidence?

Andrew Wingfield Digby introduces Nigel Biggar, the Regius Professor of Moral and Pastoral Theology, who then talks about 'Just War' thinking. Particular references are made to the first World War, and to the current situation in Syria.
