St. John's wetlands

Wetlands are important as they store almost five times more carbon than a similar sized tropical forest. But... they are also a big obstacle for development because over half of the Avalon Peninsula is wetland. Today, as the City of St. John's votes on its wetland development regulations, we're looking closer at what it means and why it matters.
