Prayer is a conversation with God, even though we may not hear him, they are answered if we look hard enough. Life can be rough, and it can be easy to just give up. But we should fight back against the evil in the world with love.

We are always connected to God and Jesus. The Holy Spirit will be our advocate, our companion, and our spirit of truth. No matter how alone we feel, we are never alone. Faith is what we choose to believe, and how we choose to act. There are times when we get "gunked" up, but our connection to God is never really severed.

How did we become the people we are today? It is through nature, how we were nurtured, the opportunities we have, and through our life choices. Discovering who we are is an ongoing process. Our foundation starts with us being God's own people, a holy nation under God, being a holy priesthood, and being people who received mercy. Our focus is to take Jesus's and God's teaching out into the world and share it with others.

What is God asking us to give? To support the Gospel. (I forgot to hit the record button when he started so it starts somewhere close to 5 minutes into his sermon. -Theresa)

Ask God what he wants us to give so we can continue to grow spiritually.

Didymas - the twin, doubting Thomas. Many of us stray from our faith due to an event or not enough time to spend with God and the Word. Feel loss and abandoned.

Jesus maintained silence, today we tend to speak out if wronged. Who is responsible for the death of Jesus? God? All responsible?

Learn four (4) lessons. 1)Jesus wept with those He loves. 2) Raised Lazarus from the dead. 3) Jesus includes other people to make as whole 4) Brings other to faith. Jesus still does all these things today.

God has not promised that we would be free of suffering or tragedy. God is with us when we are suffering or going through a tragedy.
