  • Episode 530: Epsteins autopsy sparks questions about his death

    Now that the autopsy results are in, experts are raising their concerns over the details. Was Epstein strangled? Why were supermax guards napping on the job? Why were the only security cameras malfunctioning the ones in Epstein's cell? These aren't conspiracy theories, they're valid questions!

    Also, isn't it just delicious that Rashida Tlaib and her bestie Ilhan Omar are barred from entering the nation-state of Israel? I guess haters are gonna hate but they can't travel!!!

    And presidential wanna be Corey Booker wants to punish law-abiding gun owners for the crimes of the Democrat party. Oh wait, he's not talking about inner-city gun crime, just gun crimes where a trigger puller is a white man. Got it.

    -- Spiritual Encouragement --

    And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

    I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

    I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
    Psalm 32:8

                      • Pending home sales beat expectations, thanks to lower mortgage rates
                      — So-called pending home sales rose 2.8% compared with May, according to the National Association of Realtors.
                      Sales were 1.6% higher compared with June 2018, the first annual gain in 17 months.
                      “Job growth is doing well, the stock market is near an all-time high and home values are consistently increasing,” wrote Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the NAR in a release. “When you combine that with the incredibly low mortgage rates, it is not surprising to now see two straight months of increases.”

                        • Why Reading Your Bible Daily is the Best Way to Be Productive - Redeeming Productivity
                        — A few years ago a viral video circulated of Navy Seal Admiral McRaven giving the commencement speech at University of Texas, Austin. The memorable quote came when the admiral said that the best way to start off your day was by making your bed. He listed the benefits of putting bed-making first, and how it sets off a chain reaction of productivity and order in one’s life. It was good, simple, and useful advice.
                        But as much as a simple habit like making your bed can set the tone for the whole day, there is another habit which if practiced daily will rightly shape not just your day, but your life—even your eternity.

                      • — The smell of a mouthwatering meal is hard to ignore — especially when it belongs to someone else. At least that's the suggestion of a recent study that found nearly 30% of drivers are snacking from the food they're responsible for delivering.
                        The survey conducted by US Foods, which supplies food to restaurants, gathered information from about 500 food delivery drivers and more than 1,500 customers in America who order through apps such as DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub and UberEats.

                      • — Dion Drew was reluctantly but seriously considering returning to the drug trade — a life that had landed him in prison for four years in New York.
