    • Netflix suffers DRAMATIC slowdown in subscribers and this is why I hope it’s happening… – The Right Scoop

God’s Word is our primary tool for joyfully experiencing God every day.
James 1:19-22 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

            — "In the age of Trump, there's no more stupid proposition than that Nancy Pelosi is the problem. If AOC and her pygmalions and acolytes decide that burning down the House is more important than deposing Trump, they'll be left with a racist, backward president and the emotional satisfaction of their own purity," Dowd wrote.
"I think the thing that really set me off this week was them going after Sharice Davids," McCaskill said. In a now-deleted tweet, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D., N.Y.) chief of staff attacked freshman representative Sharice Davids (D., Ka.), accusing her of enabling "a racist system."

          • — Top Democrats are circulating a poll showing that one of the House's most progressive members — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — has become a definitional face for the party with a crucial group of swing voters.
Why it matters: These Democrats are sounding the alarm that swing voters know and dislike socialism, warning it could cost them the House and the presidency. The poll is making the rounds of some of the most influential Democrats in America.
"If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the [House] majority at risk," said a top Democrat who is involved in 2020 congressional races. "[S]he's getting all the news and defining everyone else’s races."

Sec. Acosta definitely didn't have to resign but he did so out of concern that his continued presence would be a distraction to the Trump Administration. Pretty honorable of him to put the country first. Until I know more, that is the way I see it.

Collosians 3:13 NLT Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Don’t run off (forgiveness is one of those subjects that send people running to the hills)! Mention forgiving others who have wronged you and you'll hear "it's too hard, I can't forgive them... " Well, we only feel that way because we approach forgiveness as something that we must do on our own in our own strength.

Instead, see forgiveness as a heart matter. Instead of calling it “hard, difficult, impossible” look at it with fresh eyes. It's a problem that you can give to God. If you CHOOSE to forgive, and pray over the matter, leaving it with him, God is ready and willing to do this FOR us.

                    • — After drawing strong reactions, she fell back to a position of saying there were “multiple truths” about Jesus – that he can be seen to have been both Jewish and a Palestinian. The “Jesus was a Palestinian” claim is one frequently made by supporters of the Palestinian cause, for political purposes.
Sarsour kicked off the row with a Friday night tweet, saying, “Jesus was Palestinian of Nazareth and is described in the Quran as being brown copper-skinned with wooly hair.”

                        — Rep. Rose used his allotted one-minute time addressing the House to tell his colleagues that the $4.6 billion funding package, which President Donald Trump signed into law on Monday, doesn't address "the real crux of the problem at our southern border":
“We should not confuse that the action that the House took today addresses the real crux of the problem at our southern border. Indeed, less than five percent of the funds that we approved will have a realistic impact on reducing the plague of illegal immigration that faces our country.”
