This week I’m joined by the Broadway Husbands, Stephen Hanna and Bret Shuford. In addition to a slew of incredible Broadway shows and Ballet between them, they also host their own podcast, have a Broadway clothing line, and are avid Disney lovers too! This week, we discuss the burnout factor in both the arts and mediumship, and explore ways to acknowledge it while still loving what we do. We’ll also discuss ways of tapping into our full potential, trusting the multiple pathways the Universe presents to us, in addition to sharing tips for maximizing our full potential creatively. As usual, we’ll discuss Stephen and Bret’s reading (I read them as a couple), the Soul who made total sense AFTER the reading, and I’ll also answer what happens during a reading when the person you were expecting to come through doesn’t. I also debunk the rumor on if some of us are just “unreadable” as well as share the story about the time I went to read someone and got NOTHING. If you’d like to learn more about Bret, Stephen, and the Broadway Husbands, feel free to check out the following!

This week, Broadway stage manager extraordinaire Danny Maly stops by the Stage Door! On this episode, Danny and I talk about the pathways into our careers we wish we’d known about and discuss practical tips to get started in either. Danny and I also chat about working with a wide variety of energies and personalities on a daily basis, how to cater to each type, but also how to shed that energy when we go home after a long day and where to draw the line. Of course we chat about pets, their own Spirit guides, and how we can utilize them for assistance with our four legged children! This week, Danny and I have a really beautiful heart to heart as we discuss his parents, acknowledging grief and loneliness, as well as some of the most beautiful stories on the ways Danny sees his mom and dad in all he does, including numbers and birds. Danny also talks with us about his incredible business of collected and curated goods, Homeward Derby, as well as the special energy that objects can hold for all of us.

We’re back tonight with a new episode as Bonnie Milligan stops by the stage door! Bonnie made her Broadway debut in Head Over Heels, and was also seen in the off-Broadway productions of Promenade, Joseph, and Gigantic, in addition to the national tour of Kinky Boots. This week, I explain whether or not Mediums are able to read family or close friends, and if so, when it’s allowed/possible. Bonnie and I also have a great discussion on finding our own authenticity: in the audition room, on stage, and in the real world, and what authenticity looks like in terms of being a Medium. We also chat about growing your ability, steering clear of embellishments during a show or a reading to impress the crowd/client, and well as our post show or reading routines. As usual, Bonnie shares some beautiful details about our reading together, as well as some incredible messages from both her father and grandmother who came through. To close, I chat about what happens when we have to throw away or donate items that once belonged to our loved ones or were gifted to us from them, and why we shouldn’t feel bad in doing so.

Welcome back to the Stage Door! This week, I’m joined by the brilliant Ben Davis. Some of Ben’s MANY Broadway credits include Les Miserables, Violet, Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Boheme, and Dear Evan Hansen in addition to national tours, concert work, tv and film. Join us this week as we chat about drones, pizza, and the hike that nearly killed me in Woodstock, NY (Kind of kidding?) Ben shares some beautiful stories about his father, the simple yet profound life-advice he gave, and the one message Ben’s father wouldn’t let up on until I shared it aloud. Truly, the impact of what I shared with Ben that day didn’t even fully click until we met again for our interview. We also chat about Marin Mazzie’s legacy, competition within the Mediumship community, as well as discuss different careers, ego checks, and why we shouldn’t be trying to quantify the work we do!

This week we leave the Stage Door and head over to Doylestown, PA! On this special episode of Stage Door Medium, I’ll share my experience of what it was like staying in the home of one of musical theatre’s founding fathers, Oscar Hammerstein II. Tune in this week to learn all about Oscar, whether or not it’s possible to channel celebrities, and all the creative ways Oscar validated his presence and opinions on things when I arrived at his home, Highland Farm. I’ll also be sharing some fun stories about the rainbow that supposedly led them to their home, the natural landscape that inspired Oscar’s Oklahoma lyrics, as well as which other friends or relatives of Oscar’s came through that day to visit. Also, come learn about the exciting current plans and to turn Oscar’s home into an immersive museum as well as how YOU can help! I’ll also discuss what is considered evidential information during a reading, what isn’t, and why it’s crucial that evidential information be provided when you sit with a Medium.

This week, Broadway’s Talia Suskauer stops by the Stage Door! Talia made her Broadway debut in Be More Chill and will soon be flying high again as Elphaba on the national tour of Wicked when performances resume on August 3rd in Dallas, TX. This week, I answer a popular question, “Do people who were grumpy or mean here in the physical world stay that way in Spirit?” From there, Talia and I discuss the importance of raw talent versus trainability and if one is more crucial than the other, both as performers and lightworkers. We also talk about the concept of loss, understanding it at any age, and why we shouldn’t count younger actors out of the running to tackle heavier material. I’ll also piggyback and share why for most mediums, it’s usually a graduated approach before we can start channeling the heavier content in readings. As usual, we’ll discuss Talia’s reading, as she graciously goes into detail about our time together! Finally, we’ll chat about our relationships and how they’re impacted by our jobs, and how to deal with those “friends” who may try to take advantage of us or expect things for free. P.S. join us next week for an extra special episode from Oscar Hammerstein’s home as I recently visited there and it was incredible. And yes… Oscar came through loud and clear. I can’t wait to share it with you all!

Alicia Albright stops by the stage door tonight! Broadway credits include Wicked ,where she served as Dance captain, as well as performing in the national tours as well. Most recently, Alicia was seen in Frozen on Broadway! Alicia is also the founder of the Feed Your Soul Project, where her mission is to help others speak their heart, discover the light within each of us, and then learn how to share it with the world. This week, I’ll explain my process in detail in terms of what I do before I channel (Ground, Protect, Connect). From there, we dive right in and talk about the concepts of breathwork and mindfulness and why it sadly doesn’t have a place (yet) in the Broadway rehearsal room, but it doesn’t mean we can’t make it happen for ourselves before the rehearsal starts. We also talk about the importance of just showing up, and how so often, we can share our light with others simply by being in the same room. Alicia talks about what it looks like creating a show from scratch, as was the case with her being an OBC member of Frozen and touches on acknowledging the sensitivities of not only castmates, but crew, creatives, and assistants. In addition, we’ll talk about Alicia’s reading, the importance of vacation time and rest, and Nessa’s wheelchair soap-opera moment from Wicked that I’m determined to turn into a viral challenge.

This week Broadway Queen Lesli Margherita stops by the Stage Door. Broadway credits include originating the role of Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical and Mona Kent in Dames at Sea, in addition to Off B’way in Emojiland and The Who’s Holiday. This week, I’ll answer one of the most commonly asked questions, “Will the person I expect most to come through absolutely be there in the reading? If not, why is that?” From there, Lesli and I talk about how we deal with uncomfortable information, whether that be at the stage door or given to me from Spirit during a reading. In addition, we’ll talk about bootlegs: pitting actors against one another in comparison videos and how they rob aspiring artists from their own creative process. In addition, I’ll share which Matilda song is almost identical to what it feels like inside a medium’s brain (or at least mine!). Lesli chats about manifestation and intention plus how landing the role of Mrs. Wormwood was a direct result of it. As always, we’ll chat about Lesli’s reading with me and how her incredible father, Bob, was quick to come through in addition to sharing some crazy specific details through Matilda lyrics as well as those ugg slippers… Finally, we’ll share stories about not being physically present for an important loved one’s passing and how we’re not meant to guilt ourselves should this happen. Thanks for popping by the Stage Door, and we’ll see you next week at 7pm!

This week, Broadway’s Patricia Phillips stops by the Stage Door! Some of Patricia‘s incredible credits include the original Broadway cast of the Secret Garden,in addition to the Broadway productions of Kinky Boots (Only WOC in the Broadway production), and the Phantom of the Opera (first POC to play Carlotta!). In addition to Broadway, Patricia is also a professor at Penn State (The luckiest students!) This week, we sit down to discuss getting the bug from an early age, dedicated theatre and music teachers who introduce us to the magic of theater at an early age, and Patricia’s time at Carnegie Mellon. We also discuss how long it takes Patricia and myself to warm up either for a performance or a reading, respectively, as well as some secret tidbits from Phantom of the Opera and colorism within the arts. We also have a great chat on ego, confidence, and arrogance and their place within the arts and mediumship, the timelessness of good technique and training, and why Phantom’s Carlotta is a fighter. As always, we’ll discuss Patricia’s reading, channeling her Mom into her performance in Phantom, and the glow-up from wearing pajamas onstage to eventually 50 lb beaded gowns.
