In the days just before Twitter and way before Instagram, The Guilty Ones, or TGO, was a message board devoted to the comings and goings of the cast of Spring Awakening, the fans, and just general excitement about the new rock musical. Lauren Hanna was on TGO, which is where we met. The lights went out on Broadway (and most of the upper west side) on Saturday, July 13 and as usual, the Broadway community rose to the occasion. Sharon Wheatley and the rest of the cast of Come From Away gave the audience of their cancelled show a truly memorable experience when they sang "Welcome to the Rock" right outside of the stage door. On the podcast, Sharon talks about how that impromptu performance came to be, as well as some other truly unique experiences she has had at the stage door (You definitely want to hear what she has to say about Cats!)

His new show, which he wrote and directed with Cady Huffman called Miss Peggy Lee: In Her Own Words and Music, will be back at The Green Room 42 on July 24 and 31. Jen Kahn was a Broadway stage manager when she got the idea for Scenery Bags, a way to upcycle old theater backdrops and turn them into adorable bags. Since Jen launched in 2017, Scenery Bags have been spotted with some of your favorite actors, like Krysta Rodriguez and Rachel Bloom.
