Tim and Mary take on the current news cycle which is dominated by chatter about the apocalyptic nature of Ai. The Chicken Little bot keeps telling us the sky is falling, but is it? Trump says Ai isn't harmful, of course on some levels it is, but on an extinction level? And Bill Gates, globalist extraordinaire, has weighed in, all while writing checks to Ai. How about another scenario? Ai extinction, midterms and globalism, oh my - are they related? Quite possible. We talk about fear mongering by you-know-who (the left) who always has to have an apocalypse at the ready, like climate change, viruses, you name it. And since those two are old hat, and electric stoves are OK now, let's find a new one in time for the mid-terms: Ai's death wish for humanity. Regulating it. What could possibly go wrong? We explore the possibility that this narrative too is just in time for the Left to save us from ourselves. Again.

Mary welcomes back the brilliant Nathaniel Jeanson, someone who has taken the origins debate and placed it ahead of the pack. In his forthcoming book, "A New Way to Win", he outlines the definitive worldview battle based on the state of America since the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925. At that time, it was illegal to teach evolution in the schools, specifically in Tennessee. John Scopes ultimately lost for teaching evolution, and fined $100. But what we have lost since then is immeasurable, as the legal tactic of the defense, headed by Clarence Darrow, was one of dismantling what he considered the foolish religion of Christianity. As a result, how the case was argued has had ramifications till today. We talk about lawyers vs. detectives, cold cases in the creation debate (are there any?); Darwin's finches getting new life, and DNA.  Dr. Jeanson's 26-part YouTube series on "A New History of the Human Race" is a must for history and genealogical geeks. We cannot overstate the influence these men had on our collective psyche for the last 100 years. What are the core principles of the SM movement? What are the dangers of being influenced by it? Today's pervasive mantra, "You've got this!" is a similar self-help approach to any difficulty as if that alone is going to solve any problems, self-made or inflicted by life. On this edition of SUFTT, Tim and Mary look at the fall of the Judeo/Christian worldview and what is replacing it. Having built the west with its era of personal freedoms and democracy, today's world is looking far less like what we have known and much more like pending tyranny. Islam, Marxism, climate theology and more all point to a completely new world order fit for Antichrist. In fact, Romans 1 also points to this transition clearly. We talk about Britain's massive fall; the differences in worldviews; euthanasia laws coming online in various places. In the children's nursery rhyme, "Humpty Dumpty", we get the pithy inference that some things simply cannot be reversed, cannot be put back together and reach the point of no return. In Christianity, this hints directly at a time of judgment - after which all things are set aright, made new. Come Lord Jesus.

Mary takes on the lowly "comma" in today's podcast. A relatively minor punctuation in life that, when placed by the Holy Spirit into the Scriptures, can separate concepts, lists, thoughts - and even years and millennia. Bible prophecy, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, has given us many things to watch for and understand and in this generation, the clarity comes from what is commonly referred to as "dispensationalism". Today we tour Isaiah 61, Zechariah 9, Isaiah 9. The church was called a "mystery" in the Scriptures, and that is a theme that really helps us understand that it had a start date and will have an end date. What is often called a "parenthetical" segment of time is actually the season in which God calls out a people separate from Israel, and yet grafted in. Oh the glorious ways and means of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! Learning about some mountain peaks and valleys in prophecy is our goal today. Seeing what the prophets longed to see. Mary welcomes back John Haller to see if we can begin to figure out the methods behind all the madness out there. In Shakespeare's Hamlet, Polonius remarks to the Prince, "Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't." Wouldn't we all love to look behind the scenes and try to find the switch that shuts down all the insanity? Nothing makes sense anymore, except to the One to Whom it all matters: God, who knows exactly what is going on at all times. For now, we look at not just cultural madness, but geo-political - and we don't need to look far. Turkey, Iran, Ai, blood libels against Israel, treaties and threats and tyrants are all on the stage at once. No wonder we can't always hear the dialogue! But John is here to help us sort a lot of it out through his many contacts, his legal mind, and his ability to connect dots of many things all at once. Mary welcomes back JB Hixson to hopefully play a role in stemming the tide of rampant biblical illiteracy.  If social media has accomplished anything, it's been to pull the curtain back on all the would-be influencers and click bait addicts who think they know something about God's grand design when actually many know absolutely nothing but don't want you to know that. Today with JB we take a look at the major themes of the bible: Creation, Conflict, Covenants, Conquests, Captivities, Incarnation, the Cross, the Church and the Culmination of all things. Some might say, all that matters is that we agree on the gospel. Well, it can also be true that the saving gospel comes to us in the fullness of time, but also that much more can and must be learned about how we got there, from the promise in Genesis 3:15 to "it is finished". It's a full and glorious revelation! Let's never forget the whole counsel, the big picture - and study to show ourselves approved.

On today's Headline edition of SUFTT, Tim and Mary look at the anniversary of 9/11. While some still maintain that it was an "inside job" of the US government, we find overwhelming evidence that it was an Islamic attack on the US. What is the one thing we are seeing take place in our nation among all threats? Islamic encroachment of our nation in alarming ways. This makes the conspiracy aspect null and void because, well, they are already "inside". ISLAM is the inside job. And to say that 3000 families were "in on it" is as disturbing as it gets. There are also those who claim that Oct 7 was an inside job - the IDF. Everything is Israel's fault. These are cringe/fringe beliefs at best but even believers get caught up. At any rate, we take some time to take the temperature of our nation 25 years later. We also look at Israel's prep for a wider middle east meltdown, more evidence of Islam in America, and truly, seeing as everything will dissolve, what manner of persons ought we to be at this point? Hint: holy, and godly. An hour to see where we are at and what to do about it- in the end. What truly matters?

Mary welcomes Retired Lt. Col Phill Cochran who flew the F-16 Fighting Falcon for more than 2 decades. For 23 years he also stood behind the pulpit, preaching and teaching God's Word. In God's classroom, he began to connect the dots among military service, high-performance flight, and deeper spiritual truths. Today we talk about his book, "Lessons Learned at the Speed of Sound", a book of 40 devotionals to encourage and challenge us on such important subjects as grace, repentance, perseverance, correction, joy and sorrow, temptation and hope. Seeing how God weaves our life choices together with His care and sovereignty in our lives is a rich experience, and Phill's story is no less a picture of how our times are truly in His hands, and our walks become fruit of the classrooms into which He puts us.
