It's time again for our weekly Media Watch segment, followed by YOUR portion of the program in which we answer your questions and comments from this week. First, in our media segment we address: Lies about repealing ObamaCare; covering up Democratic Party scandals; and, He's back! Al Gore has a new movie out with more distortions about climate change and of course, the media is more than willing to support his agenda - including his claims to save the planet while bringing it under the control of a handful of elites---like Al Gore.

Some of the questions we will respond to include topics such as: Christians working for ungodly corporations, allowing Muslim Imams into our churches to talk about Islam, what to do when you and your spouse cannot agree on which church to attend, and is it time to give up on our political leaders and perhaps even those who lead the church in America?

When we talk with Christian missionaries working in the Muslim world, we often hear remarkable testimonies about Muslims committing their lives to Jesus Christ. As biblical Christianity grows in heavily Muslim nations where the church is persecuted, we seem to see almost the reverse happening in America. A growing number of professing Christians in America, spiritually softened by our easy way of life, are growing lukewarm in their faith. New Christian converts in third world nations are on fire and unashamedly in love with God and His Word. Is this another obvious sign we desperately need revival?

We continually look at the idea of revival as an American thing, but is spiritual revival happening in Muslim nations because of oppression and persecution? Has our vast wealth in America become the enemy of our souls?

Elijah Abraham, a former Muslim and now born-again disciple of Jesus Christ travels around the world sharing the gospel in Muslim nations and training pastors and Christians to reach Muslims with the gospel. Today we take a hard-hitting look at Christianity in America and around the world.

With the insanity of the transgender movement and its growing acceptance by Americans and policy enforcement by the government, a prominent medical organization has weighed in to set the record straight. This morning we cover a report by The American College of Pediatricians that says assisting children in "changing their gender" is actually child abuse - and ultimately destructive to them.

We also look at a Wisconsin technology company that is implanting microchips into its employees. Is this a glance at end-times prophecy, all with the promise that there is nothing to worry about?

In our first segment today, we are blessed to have in-studio guest, Tina Marie of Counter Culture Mom and discuss how we can protect our children from the dangerous ideas of Hollywood, television, the publishing industry, and video games.

Saul Alinsky, a radical liberal and agnostic, wrote the blueprint on how to introduce chaos through community organizing in hopes of overthrowing the government of the United States by undermining its foundational systems: government, public education, media, and the church. His book Rules For Radicals spells out how people should organize and force change through misinformation and intimidation. In his book he acknowledges the "first radical known to man: Lucifer."

Rules for Radicals was once endorsed as recommended reading for teachers on the National Education Association website. The influence of Alinsky is being felt in every aspect of our society today. Hillary Clinton was an admirer of Saul Alinsky, embracing his goals and methods only to find herself "out Alinskied" by Bernie Sanders who captured the fantasies of American youth in the 2016 presidential election.

Saul Alinsky died in 1972 but his ideas and methods have never been more popular with the far left. Today we explore two questions: First, what would Saul Alinsky think if he were alive today? And second, how could a man who admired Lucifer have such a strong influence - not only in our nation but also in too many American Christian Churches?

We're joined this morning my John Loeffler, a fifty year veteran of broadcast journalism and born-again follower of Jesus Christ. John is in his 25th year of hosting Steel on Steel radio--a news talk program that looks at today's events through the lens of the Bible.

In our final segment this morning we cover a tragic story of what can happen when people are taught that human life is an accident of the universe instead of life created by God in His image. A group of teenagers in Florida saw a man drowning, and instead of trying to help him they recorded the event on social media, mocking him as he splashed around. Now, two young daughters are without their father.

First up, we talk with Jay Seegert of The Starting Point Project and discuss his article, "A Simple Approach to Sharing Your Faith." Have we made sharing the gospel something we dread instead of enjoy doing? What are some ways we can open up a discussion with anyone, offering them the hope of eternal life with God?

This morning on Stand Up For the Truth we read your comments and answer your questions from this week. One central theme is discernment issues within Christianity. Are we using proper biblical discernment or engaging in prideful witch hunts, looking to discredit others with whom we disagree? Also, several have chimed in regarding young people seeking "community" outside the confines of church. We discuss these and other important topics of interest.

First up, David covers our weekly Media Watch segment and easily answers this question: Why does secular media dedicate so much time to covering issues Americans say they don't care about?

Families and societies operate best when there are fixed standards of morality to guide our actions. In our nation, we were established upon the rule of law, supposedly giving us clear instruction what is acceptable or unacceptable behavior. As Christians we are guided by God's Word which sets the ultimate standard for morality and acceptable behavior for us. But what happens when "normal" becomes subjective to personal feelings?

In the first segment today, we check in with Doug Wakefield of Best Minds, Inc. to keep an eye on world wide economic trends that point to globalism through a coming shake up in the world economy.

Today, we will be discussing the controversial statement, and subsequent retraction, of Eugene Peterson’s endorsement of homosexual marriage as “biblical.” We will comment on an article from John Stonestreet at Breakpoint, a good perspective on why Christian leaders like Peterson are suddenly making confusing statements about homosexuality, and the damage it is doing to the Evangelical Church in America.

In our first segment we turn our attention to the emerging “double speak” of the left as it relates to Islam, Feminism, and progressive ideology in America. Why do liberals publicly support Islam, a system that stands against everything liberals value such as abortion, homosexuality and women’s rights? Ryan Mauro of The Clarion Project joins us to look at the hypocrisy of the left regarding Islam.

Today we cover an intriguing article from Denver, Colorado about an "atheist church of free thinkers." What is very interesting about the article is the words they use to describe their "community" are the same words that appeal to many young Christians these days: Free-thinking, questioning, skeptical, and conversational.

Is this the model for the future of church for our younger people? We discuss this with Dave Wager of Silver Birch ranch and Nicolet Bible Institute. Dave has worked with youth for 35 years.

In our final segment today we offer a solution to the Public Education mess we see as discussed from the crisis at Washington Middle School in Green Bay. The solution is simple, but not easy. It will require qualities sadly lacking these days: courage and conviction.

First up, we are joined by Brad Dacus of The Pacific Justice Institute to discuss legal cases threatening the religious freedom and conviction of Christians in our nation. Even his organization has been labeled a 'hate' group' by the radical Southern Poverty Law Center. Has the Progressive/Marxist juggernaut grown so strong that it is inevitable? If not, what can we do to fight it and restore biblical principles in our nation?
