The Rwanda Bill passed on Tuesday, a migrant committed suicide on a boat.
Safety for a rough sleepers.  I share  about the rough sleeper whose sleeping bag was soaked.
Then I share some tales of what happens  on the streets

Another interesting week.

The underlying word this week is stupidity.

The three stories I will be covering are:

1/ How much does a person have to earn to get a visa?

2/ Rwanda, our government have a bill going through which says that Rwanda is a safe place to travel to .

3/ The Covid Enquiry. Boris Johnson appears to testify, I feel all he did was to say he was their physically but not mentally.

The bad new is I don't know everything, due to things I have done in the past, I have a good idea of book keeping and I feel I am good at figures but I could never call myself an economist ,
I think an apt title for me would be hobbyist, I know lots of things but only one maybe two I could call myself a specialist.
I was looking for an economist, a Mr Barry James contacted me he is has an interest in economics.
I love listen to put forward theories and he told me why Liz Truss repeated the speech which got her the position of Prime Minister, she said the same words at the Conservative Party Conference . I thought she was a lunatic but Barry told me why, I still can't believe it.

This weeks guest is Mike Hyden of HBP consultancy. I always enjoy talking with him as he feeds my quest for knowledge.

As usual we started talking about the subject of gate keeping but then we swerved into the area of presenting a a case. As a former advocate ( my cases were about the benefits) I found the conversation very engaging as to types of evidence that can be used.

So manytimes we are presented with the truth or rather what people want us to believe is the truth. 
Here I present the facts as I have heard them , give my viewpoint but I am not telling you to agree with me.

We have all heard how illigal migrants are being put in hotels and the money they are getting..

I knew the latter was untrue and like many assumed they were in hotels.

I met with Ross Watkins, a nperson I have worled with on various paels in the past.

Migrants who have been given permisson to stay are the ones in hotels but now thy are being evicted.

I have known Matt for many years, Preciously he was the Policy Director  at Crisis.
